My late brother was a Chet Atkins fan & expert. I love this song. He told me Chet didn't like it. I played this song when I was in the 11th grade. Way back in 62'.
I think this is the only (first) tune where I hear tremlo/reverb. I thought he was dead against "effect pedals" etc. I'm dumbfounded. It sounds fine but I'd never have guessed it was Chet.
@GORDON330 Chet was never against pedals, quite the contrary. Throughout his career his used a wide variety of effects pedals. He was a pioneer in that regard as you can hear on this track. :)
