@lichprince431 It is free now. When I started playing you had to buy the game. It is f2p you just have to buy quest packs and so on for later content. There is no mandatory sub fee though.

@lichprince431 You can download the game on their site, you are limited to quest packs, but...the LOTRO story line is avalible, from the early parts of Bree, to Mirkwood. Not sure if the Isengard epic quests have been added to that.

@Xather15 The game has no subscription to play it. You can play the game free up to around level 28 before you need to buy quest packs later on. You can technically get points free by doing deeds and stuff (grinding) to buy quest packs. Let me know if you have any more questions. :)

@thatKyleperson Sorry missed your comment mate. Lifetime was something they offered during the intial release and anniversaries of the game. The best thing to do is just keep a tab on it.

@RiseoftheSith51 Head over to otro (dot) com/free php for more details on pricing. Basically free gets you content that will get you to ~28. If you go VIP it will open all early stuff. You still need to buy quest packs otherwise and do need to buy expansions. It is worth it if you like story in my opinion. There aren't enough characters but there are not dungeons as such, at least until 50+ where you do instances. PvMp is ok. I hope this helps :) Reply if you want to know more.

I was looking at the pricing for full version game, the top one was 50$. shit came with it, now buying the full version rather the free version will get me access to all the game content and such right? @RiseoftheSith51 Correct if you get the legendary edition of ROI it will get you everything. The free version basically lets you play the game up to an area called ost guruth. You get to do all the quests and there is an instance called Great Barrows @ 25ish. I would suggest playing it up until around that point for free. Then buy the legendary edition. That would be the most cost effective way to do it. I hope that helps a bit more.

I gotta say so far, Im not entirely all that Impressed with RoI exp. The devs hav really held bk alot on wot they originally planned to do with this, Mounted Combat, and anther MvP area dropped. And its really kinda not as gud, or no-where near as big Moria. I mean yes Moria had its slight flaws compared to Angmar end-game content, encouraging more solo gaming instead of group quests, but still shit loads to do. Isens kinda boring lol.

Did they change anything between level 1-50? The game is so boring at those levels. Especially once you get into North Downs. At least they removed the majority of group quests in Lone Lands and made it playable. They really need to revamp North Downs, Trollshaws, Angmar and Misty Mountains. They should work on adding some sort of dungeon finder that automatically will group people together in the same queue for dungeons across all servers.

@huldu Levelling is a lot better now in RoI. I am levelling a 4x champ, the exp has been buffed per hand inm. Also Evendim has been revamped too. If you are curious try itout again. It is worth giving it another chance. They are aiming to make the lower content easier asap.
