The White Album takes well to stereo remastering, but the older albums I certainly like better in their mono remastering versions. I still like listening to the newer albums in mono as well. There is slightly better dynamic range and separation especially with all the sophisticated orchestrations and sounds. The older stuff just sounds phony in my opinion, and not was intended by the artists. It's sort of like coloration of old B&W movies that are classics in their original form.

I just think that he was a maniac. I think by saying he had a reason behind what he did justifies to an extent that he murdered someone. Its not even because he murdered John Lennon but because he killed a human being. I dont think that because John had money should have given anyone a reason to kill him. Lennon sang about what he believed in and the 10 cohesive years of back catalogue proves he wasnt some sell out. Money didnt change John Lennon, he just changed. However,thats just my opinion.

Just a poke at people who read too much into Beatles lyrics and the whole Paul is Dead scheme which really was devised by John and/or Paul so who is kidding who?. Glass onion means glass-covered coffin (with dead Paul) that one can look into and see (in a time, a a shriveled stinking onion-face).

Want to confirm this by anyone other than me: Went to Lennon's , National trust ,home in Liverpool. Was i mistaken or was there a huge park across the street with one of those Victorian horticulture buildings, huge , and this one was shaped like a big dome or Glass onion. i tried google earthing it but there is nothing there anymore.
