same for me as what @missrainbowist said - I was only a tiny kid when this came out, got into the Lovin' Spoonful about 10 years down the road but for some reason have never been able to find this movie anywhere! It was on TV a couple times at 3 in the morning and I missed it! Thanks for posting the whole thing!
Fine fine movie. Michael Dunn was so great to watch even if he was not a big boy now (joke - the dude was a very short guy) but miss him. And John Seb really could write back then .. great score and this is far from the best song.
I love this movie! But every single one of the characters in this film is in serious need of some kind of professional help. What a messed up bunch! LOL!
And apparently Elizabeth Hartman in real life was every bit as troubled as her character, Barbara Darling. She committed suicide by jumping out of her fifth floor apartment window several years after this movie was made.
I'm really glad you uploaded this movie to your site!! Now I won't have to watch it on my VHS player all the time--------- I'm a really big fan of Elizabeth "Biff"Hartman!!!!
You are very welcomed. I, too, am an avid Elizabeth "Biff" Hartman and Sidney Poitier fan. I am sending you "A Raisin in the Sun" from my other screen name.
Actually, the last time I was there was when I worked there back in 1991. The library looked exactly the same way it does in the movie. The New York Public Library on 5th Avenue is the biggest and oldest library in New York City. To the best of my knowledge, I believe the library still looks the same to this day.
Awesome :-)

Geraldine Page and Julie Harris acted with James Dean. Geraldine in "The Immoralist", on Broadway, and Julie in "East of Eden".

Does the Library still look like that inside, with all the green lamps? I think they filmed Ghostbusters in here too.
