I tried to do the checkout there I don't know how many times. I remember the last time I tried my starter shat the bed in TVSV after 2 flights that same day. When we heard the whirring sound of the bendix spinning but not engaging the flywheel, the check examiner said "Dat stata don' sonn too good mon". Flying in the Caribbean was entertaining to say the least

Nice landing at Mustique. Did that many times. Most of the time in 'Islanders' 20 years ago.
