anyway ^^ , well - we're not very sure yet about what we'll see in the next Gradius game , but since it's announced that it's still a working title - we hope for it to be released as soon as it's fully prepared ^^

@ikaruga we're not completely sure but it was mentioned about being a new incoming Gradius game soon , currently mentioned ( a rumor ) a new Gradius game for 3DS , but for PS3 not very sure yet ^_^

@ikaruga to me it will make me happy because best released console Gradius games were mostly in Sony's systems ( PSX / PS1 - PS2 & PSP ) ^^

so if hopefully one came for PS3 it'll make me happy ^^

Gradius REbirth was okay IMO, but it kept me happy. Gradius II on teh Famicom was such a wonderful game and has such nice graphics for it;s time.

from what i know, not even light can escape black holes, but if the vic viper can escape it, then you know it's bad ass! :P

@ryudooo not to mention the rest of the super space ships ( Lord.B - Jade Knight - Falchion Beta ) are also powerful for evading that situation ^^

The ships in this game are able to escape the black hole because they all have a speed of about 6c, which is 6 times the speed of light.

i never heard of any Gradius ship that goes 6 times faster than speed of light O_o

also in this stage they look like they're not moving too fast from the moving speed of the stage ^_^

It was a nice touch when Konami made the jet flame animations drastically bursts out frantically while escaping the black hole it makes you feel like you're really avoiding this~

If you notice the animation of your ship as well it's getting a bit wobbly and your ship tries to fly straightly...

this music is quite cool but the level is weird the fact that it is the usuall gradius 1 first stage but the fact taht half the terrain gets sucked into a black hole it kinda leads to a theory i made about level 5 of gradius 5 that is it the remains of this level

yes it looks like gradius 1 stage 1 and about the floating meteors it's nearly close to gradius v stage 5 as you said ...yes that's nearly correct ^_^

wow cool and i also find it neat that if you use the missiles that seem to go across the ground they also get sucked into the black hole thats quite cool:)
