I was going to briefly describe my current plans which are purely based on simple theoretical Mendelian genetic models and would completely lack intuition. However, shit got too complicated by the time I'd reached the 4th generation in the process, and I didn't have the space to go into backcrossing/stabilizing. I have never tried crossing/breeding before, in case you didn't notice...

question. theoretically speaking, say if you wanted to cross 2 strains but one of those strains was only available as feminised seed, would it be possible to substantially out-breed the risk of hermaphroditism? If so, how could you do so and how could you be sure? I'll continue in another comment...

An added benefit to plant breeding is that it allows more mutations to happen; the more genetic copy-mistakes there are, the more possibility there is for a pleasant freak to emerge (it's genetic engineering, the 'old-fashioned' way). Breeders should focus on making a strain to combat ADD; stimulating effects are my preference by far. Medically specific strains have immense ethical potential!

@smokeitorbagit STS is silver thiosulfate, you have to get the chemicals and mix them, and learn how to use it,, you can google it and the recipe is out there, and it's real easy to make, you just have to get the chems, some is used in film development. good luck in your adventure, I am going to use sts on a grow of blockhead this time around.

None of the fem breeders exsplain the amount of Hermie batches they have or the amount of  vigor lost.

Most of the real breeders have stayed away from them.

Feminising seed isnt breeding. Its taking someones work, dowsing it in sliver chems and turning it hermie..

nice, it makes me happy seeing stuff like this. I like the fact that its more like a science/art growing bud, its so much more than people give it credit fore. People think cannabis makes you stupid, slows you down, etc etc etc, but when you actually look at this and see the knowledge required and the skill required to grow well you realize weed isn't primitive, its an amazing plant with a mother load of potential.

FYI Some people choose to go feminized simply because of prohibition. its alot less of a charge to be charged cultivating one plant where u can say its for personal use then trying to grow 10 different ones to choose the best for breeding, then trying to explain to a police officer your not trying to produce for sale!

Fem seeds are shit there all shit they WILL hermie the question is when.Dont waste you time and money like I did.Learn from my horrible mistake.And it happened with multiple breeders.Conclusion dont be a baby buy regular seeds and choose your own pheno of mother plant and clone the shit out of it.
