I think this song is about those who don't accept Mick as god. It's particularly perceptible in the last lines:

i used to listen to this song a while back and i sort of forgot about it and now i have discovered it and it still amazes me and fills me with emotion it never gets old
It was weird... When this album came out I hated it- coming off of 'Lights Out.' It's 4 years later and sometime this year I discovered it was an utter masterpiece. I hope Leaving Eden ends up the same way cuz I don't like it currently, haha.
