  • This is amazing. I love the feeling of this game. The music, the gameplay, the sound effects. They all fall in and make it feel very satisfying to watch and play.

I was really wanting to play with more characters, like Sora, but if not then that's okay. You did something nobody has or will ever do. Please keep up the good work! Subscribed for life!

  • This is crazy good considering this was made on game maker. I can hardly wait for a full version to come out. But, before I go, I need to say one thing, falling platforms are nearly impossible to jump off of. If you don't fix this, there will probably be a lot of complaints from a lot of people.

  • @Nechid I think it's just more of a matter of not having them fall off too early. It's been this way because it keeps players from being able to simply walk through them, which can be tested on the first room of the Training Exam. One more frame addition from its current rate already enables players to cheaply walk through the "broken bridge" bit.

    I'll be changing the fall rate of the floating falling platforms into a more forgiving rate.

    Though, the rate will be just about the same (the current, strict rate) in Adept. Most alpha testers can usually complete the strict jumping tutorial without much of a problem after a few appropriate practice runs, so it's nothing impossible once you get the timing down. Adept is made to be very difficult, so it's best for players to play under Average or Advance if the timing becomes really bothersome.

  • My favorite moment in this version is definitely just before chapter 1 begins and you gain control of Peridot. The first time I played this, the significance of that scene was lost on me, but now I understand: Peridot doesn't want to be an agent. He drops his shades and runs away, but gets caught by a superior and is forced to go on the BioLab mission with Quartz.

    Peridot is awesome :)

  • I only realized after watching this video that you can pick up Peridot's shades when he runs away from you. I wouldn't have figured that out by myself :>

    Haha. It was originally supposed to be a secret but they really come in handy for Quartz, when you'll need that extra push in a jump.
