His young borther Hiroshi Matsumoto had a son born in 1990 his name is Jun Matsumoto (not the actor)

he have also a daughter born in 2002.

I know it because Jun Matsumoto was in my classmate at elementary and middle school and now he's my best friend ^^

hide was the lead gitarist of X Japan till his death in may 1998...

Officialy it was suicide,, but the other members of the band believe it was an accident...

@lastinlineband1 no sorry you're wrong on that. hide was using a technique involving a towel around his neck that helps relieve back muscle aches caused by extensive guitar playing. the other x japan players used that technique too to relieve muscle discomfort. he happened to do it wrong which ended with him killing himself accidentally. but you're right on the part of him being drunk. but no, the technique is not that sexual strangulation technique a certain pro-wrestler killed himself with.
