Call is not only home to some of the best RB's around, its the home of the best running back COACH around. Ever since he's been there they produce quality backs year after year. You can tell they have excellent fundamentals.

Sadly to say it's not always all about the RB's. Since we no longer have Jim Michalzick as our OL coach I hope Steve Marshall can make our O-line if not as good, better.

I'm not completely familiar with Cal football, only the influx of talent they always seem to have at RB, and the fantastic coaching. Every year their RB's have fantastic fundamentals. I hope the line improves as well, seeing Best reach 2,000 would be fantastic.

Yeah, I don't think he's going to stay his senior year either because as dcos510 points out, he's probably a top 10, maybe a top 15 pick. I'm ok with it becaues when Vereen gets the call as the #1 back, he'll be ready to open eyes nationally.
