  • 1:25 nice jump!

  • What a trailer!

  • The music playing in this trailer, is the original Wolfman music

  • I think this one is fun but not as good as the first three Franks, nor the first two Dracs, or Wolfy.

  • it rules! Lord Craig Goldsberry

  • they dont make movies like this no more WTF there remaking this Classic movie in 2012 or somthing come on hollywood make your own fucking monsters stop taking draucla creture from the black laggon and all the good classic monsters sorry for my error

  • Ghost of Frankenstein is my personal favorite besides the original. Ghost was the first Universal monster movie I ever saw!

  • @egglady old one is better with karloff playing the monster ;D

  • Bride of Frankenstein was the peak of the series for me. It's also my favorite classic Universal horror film of them all.

  • The King of Monsters Stalks Again?

I know it's been a while but I don't recal seeing Godzilla in the movie

  • @snakes3425 Good point. Frankenstein's Monster might be the most memorable movie monster, but Godzilla is the Elvis of all monsters. There's always a difference between "memorable" and "king."

  • I don't care for the way Lon Chaney Jr. plays the monster. He's just an emotionless goon.

  • @Leatherbubba

The last film that portrayed the Monster as the sympathetic character he was in the novel was Bride of Frankenstien, when they made Son of Frankenstien, Ghost of Frankenstien, Frankenstien Meets the Wolfman, House of Frankenstien and House of Dracula the Monster became excatally as you described him an emotionless brute.

  • @snakes3425 Yes, but there was a reason, at least in FRANKENSTEIN MEETS THE WOLF MAN. In that film, although references were deleted, Ygor's brain was in the monster's head. Let's face it, Ygor isn't the nicest, most sympathetic guy around. In all the films following GHOST OF, the monster truly is a monster, because now it has the brain of the demented Ygor.

  • @Leatherbubba

By the time Ghost came out the Hayes code was ridggedly enforced, and it bared mocking the law of nature and man and "creating sympathy for it's violation" and in the eyes of those who ran it the Frankenstein Monster was a violation of the laws of nature and therefore unworthy of sympathy the Karloff films had to be changed as well to make him an emotionaless goon as well prior to release and all future films had to show the monster as pure evil not misunderstood

  • I love these old Frankenstein and Dracula movies. I think they represent halloween better than the new horror films do.

  • @TheCarnac449 You probably get this alot but your absolutely right. I'm sixteen and i compeletly agree with this statement.

  • @TheCarnac449 apart from Halloween 1978 version

  • Thru all the renditions of Frankenstein thru the years, this immage and make-up of Karloff, Chaney, Lugosi and Strange was the best!

  • I've always wondered why this movie wasn't called 'The Curse of Frankensten.' It seemed like a more fitting title. I realize that Henry Frankenstein's "ghost" appears briefly but it's not as if it's a central point of the story.

  • both bela lugosi and lon chaney jr. are masters in this movie!!

  • I love how the guards wait until the monster is completely free of his shackles before they move in at 1:08...
