great idea...the wind can and does ruin many shots...its important to map out your scenes too...if im filming a montage and i know there will be no voices,just music or sound effects, i film with no sound...this way i avoid the annoying hiss that the outside ambiance would produce.i use movie maker but if you use better software you can adjust the sound of each clip better so theres no need to film silent.
