  • The most beautiful female who ever lived, I have have loved her from being 18 years of age I am now 70 but I hear tales of her walking her dogs in Hyde park, if only I'd known then, I would have moved heaven and earth to have met her, if only for a brief hello.

  • Seriously i would have turned into a lesbian if I lived in the same era as her. She is the EPITOME of BEAUTY.

  • Ava Gardner was the most beautiful woman alive!!!it's sad she's dead though I read that she was an amazing woman

  • One of the most beautiful women that ever lived. Period. And not to mention one of the greatest romances: Sinatra and Gardner.

  • And God said, I'LL MAKE ME ANOTHER EVE, AND HER NAME WILL BE AVA.

    ...

    ...FRANK SINATRA AS WELL?

    ...DO I REALLY HAVE TO?

Compare this lady to degenerates like Nicole Kidman and Scarlett Johanssen. Jolie comes closest perhaps. But not within a mile.

The old stars also dieted and some had tit enhancements and tucs, but never so drastic as today's stars have.

Sophia Loren: 'I owe it all to spaghetti!' And I believe her. She as well was a 50s woman, and them were WOMEN.

  • She was so beautiful.

  • Out of all those film clips only a few of those movies are available to see. It's sad that an actors body of work is forgotten just because money can't be made off their films. Ava was at the peak of her beauty in the movie,"The Killers." There was a perfume ad in the 1990's that used Ava's picture as a little two year old and she was the most beautiful child that I have ever seen.

  • @darlinkula1 The Killers are available on DVD if anyone wants to see it.I warmly recommend it.It starres Ava Gardner and Burt Lancaster.

  • WOW just WOW.

  • Gardner's third and last marriage (1951-1957) was to singer and actor Frank Sinatra.

  • she was so beautiful!

My mum sat on a bench in a park somewhere in England and suddenly she realized that Ava was sitting next to her XD

  • Thanks for posting this. Five stars.

  • She's from an area that's about ten miles from where I live. They have an Ava Gardner museum there.

  • @VinmanMJ23

I stay in Benson, you must not be too far off from there.

  • Yeah, I live in Garner.

  • which film is it at 0.22

  • @gradusm That movie is The Barefoot Contessa- she was absolutely flawlessly beautiful in that....

  • Comment removed

  • Perfecta. Maravillosa. Bellísima... en resumidas cuentas: Ava Gardner!

  • Women from Hollywood's golden days were so much more beautiful than the twiggy tramps of today.

  • She was so beautiful. When actresses had grace, elegance and style. Some actresses like Julia Roberts, Catherine Zeta-Jones and others have that. But some actresses these days are just plain stupid walking with cell phones in the street and some of them partying excessively.

  • I agree that you cant find grace and class like this nowadays...beauty, I think so, but outward only.

  • They just don't make them like they use to. Old Hollywood movie stars were so beautiful, they didn't have bodies like boys with implants. They look so skeleton nowadays.

  • I agree, I really wish I had a time machine!!! Girls back then were real girls, famous women are so fake looking now a days, I would take Ava over any of them!!! But those days are long gone, I really wish I had a time machine :(

  • hollywood cant find a woman that is like her..

  • @kaesantiago i think Audray Hepburn would agree with that

  • Splendid womman

  • Love this woman! I read her autobiography when I was 17. Gorgeous woman, class act and was a rare, natural beauty!

  • Ava had everything; beauty of the rarest kind, charisma, talent, sex appeal and class. She was in a class by herself.

  • Wow! What a tribute! Thank you!

  • Wow I love Ava Gardner she was so beautiful.^-^

  • i think elizabeth taylor and sophie loren were nicer, oh and brigett bardot

  • Beautiful work! Favourited.

Ava Gardner was the most beautiful actress the ever existed.

    Thank you.

  • As good a pick as any. Among other classic actresses we shouldn't forget Rita Hayworth, Grace Kelly, Cyd Charisse (who had the best legs hands down!), maybe others. My favorite is usually the one I'm watching at the moment. :-) If forced to go w. just one, I'd probably pick Heddy Lamar. But Ava's way way up there.

    Favorite shot here:

    1:14

  • Grace Kelly doesn't do much for me. Agreed re Charisse. Add Audrey Hepburn and you have a very good select set. And Gardner was maybe the very sexiest of the classic screen goddesses. Her acting is not praised nowadays. Notice the small breasts -- large is not at all required. But she was the one with the most fiercesome reputation for being a tigress in bed. She was insatiable, She required a degree of hard pounding that no man in her league could deliver.

  • Oh, and add Elizabeth Taylor and Gene Tierney. BTW, this resplendently courtly woman was born near the bottom of society, into a redneck North Carolina family, in hard scrabble poverty. A diamond in the rough.

  • And did she look Italian in many of these clips.

This iconic woman died living alone in a London flat. She could not keep a husband. A limousine turned up at her funeral, but no one came out. A few reported there was man crying on the back seat. It is widely believed that that man was Sinatra. He paid to have flowers put on her grave.

  • @alnot01 "Carolina girls, the best in the world."

  • I don't like Audrey Hepburn... I prefer Ava Gardner, Rita Hayworth, Yvonne De Carlo, Arlene Dahl, Gene Tierney, Hedy Lamarr, Jane Russell...

  • Oh, what a beauty!

  • Quel belle femme une des plus belle

  • What is this beautiful B.G.music? Ava?

  • more than twenty years ago, i made a dream : Ava & me in Paris, kissin' on a bridge... dring dring says my alarm clock, it's time to go to work ! since more than twenty years ago, i think always of this incredible dream, this incredible kiss and always in love with Ava !

  • @jesusgrim

    Maybe it wasn't a dream...;)

  • the most beautiful woman to ever appear on film

  • She was hsuntingly beautiful. I watch her movies on TLC and I fall in love with her all the time.... oooh that face!

  • She, Hayworth, Taylor, Bacall and Garbo were the most beautiful of the old era (in my opinion)

  • Ava and Rita the most beautiful, Garbo too masculine but great actress, Bacall I don't like, Liz beautiful face but her body was not as charming, I loved Hedy Lamarr too...

  • Ava Gardner is the most beautiful actress from old hollywood. More beautiful than Marilyn Monroe and Elizabeth Taylor. The most beautiful actress of today? Charlize Theron.

  • Damn!! Ava was hott. Dang. Of all my searches of the old time femaale actresses, I have to say Ava, Ingrid, Lauren and Grace so far have been the most beautiful and of course they were talented too!

  • what movies are 0:52 to 0:58 and 1:05 to 1:09 and 0:25 to 0:27 from?

  • Sorry, but that's nonsense. Ava was born in 1922. Luka Magnotta (the one on IMDB) was born in 1985. That would have made Ava 63 years when she supposedly gave birth to this young lad. Folks, think about it. The only good thing about this mother-son-writing is: We are discussing about Luka Magnotta, a self-called model no-one's ever heard of before. Viral marketing this is called.

    And to Ava: RIP.

  • What a face! What a figure! What an aura! A supernova of sexuality combined with noble traits and a little down-to-earth-something. No wonder she was called the "most beautiful animal in the world". She is (pityfully was) the incarnation of woman.

  • A true beauty, far superior to a hideous ,monkey faced Mexican like Eva Longoria.

  • What? Eva's hot too! (Though it is obvious that Ava's wayy more beautiful.)

  • I am sorry, but Eva Longoria is nowhere near Ava Gardner's league; Ava Gardner was one of the most beautiful women of all time, and Eva does not even come close.

  • I sure agree with you there!

  • oh yea ava was not as averagly pretty like eva..ava was absolutely gorgeous

  • I totally agree. She was breathtakingly beautiful I could watch her movies and not totally care if they were good or bad... I just stare at her.

  • That remark was bigoted and totally needless.

  • Ava ist meine Favoritin. Ich wünsche, ich hätte sie persönlich getroffen...

  • Very nice video!

  • Ava had the men crawling on their knees begging for more and more. She had that type of power. She would throw them crumbs of course and then they would still beg.

  • VenusGuerlain-forgive me-after finishing my comment below,I meant to give thumbs up on your comment.Computer stupid me:I marked the wrong sign.I appreciate your comment and beg your forgiveness-darn slip of that computer mouse!Happy reading.

  • ok no problem.

  • I enjoy her movies and think she is lovely. However, I've never seen the great beauty in her that others do. There is something elusive about her. I've always wished I could have seen her in person. I have a feeling she was more beautiful than film could capture.

  • I agreee with most of your post. I wish I could have seen her in person as well, I believe that her beauty could not fully be captured on film. I have an idea that she was more than breath taking in person.

  • I saw her at the premiere of "Night of the Iguana"-even though she was on the balcony her charisma floated down to us.We were a crowd shouting her name, she waved to us,then turned and left the balcony.Magic moment.I've read so much about her, spoke with the staff at her Museum in Smithfield,NC,got an idea from these experiences as to what kind of "kind" person she was.She visited the wounded military in hospitals to show her concern and appreciation to them. What a special, fantastic, classy gal.

  • Thank you for the insight. I'm reading Love is Nothing by Lee Server. She really lived her life.

  • she was born in my state, and I'm doing a report about her. She is so amazing to me, and so beautiful!

  • If you're near Smithfield, a must see is her museum. I was there for her first film festival and got that Southern hospitality. The museum is filled with her photos, oil paintings by a Dutch artist (there's a story for your report), her movie scripts (nostalgic movie history), etc. The gift shop is fascinating - you'll see photos from her childhood and letters which will give you an insight of her life and character. What a beauty - she was and remains awesome. Good luck with your report.

  • thanks. I will try to check out the museum for my report. My friends think I'm kinda wierd, because when people look at me, I don't look like the kind of person to love Ava Gardner, but I do. She was beautiful, yet went through some tough times as a child

  • Hi-appreciate your reply. They just can't see why we should show our appreciation. But she was more than a celebrity/star.Need more space to explain. Am proud to say I'm an Ava Advocate of the museum. They're wonderful people who are truly dedicated to keeping Ms AG's name alive.I treasure the experience of the first filmfest and hope to attend another. She wasn't just another film star.True, her beauty was overwhelming;but it wasn't just beauty.Good luck with your report.

  • ava was

    a legendary beauty.

  • Beautiful woman and injured super actress who was alcoholic, and smoke from 8 years, I think that the led to his death, but beautiful women ..

  • omg what fab tribute to ava gardner. i loved the way she was so sassy in her films. so beautiful and totally natural.

  • Beautiful tribute to Ava Gardner.

  • Ava Gardner's figure, better than Rita Hayworth. Ava was naturally sexier than a 'created' Marilyn Monroe with proxide hair and a makeup mask. Ava was as graceful and cool as Grace Kelly, and much hotter. Ava was beyond comparison.

  • Wonderful video, what a goddess.

  • what film is this song from. Ava really was one of the most beautiful women. MAybe not a flawless face but she had something extraordinary about her that made her stand in a class of her own...

  • ya, Luka even looks like Ava.

  • The song is called 'How Am I To Know' but unfortunately I don't know from which movie it is ;)

Ava is certainly pretty, she had something special.

  • Ava sang this song in the movie "Pandora & The Flying Dutchman". I just bought this video at Amazon.com last week.

  • Od3tt301 thanks so much. i must get the film she looks so beautiful in it and the song is lovely

  • Od3tt301 thanks so much. i must get the film she looks so beautiful in it and the song is lovely

  • You're welcome, navsikand!

  • The song was also in the movie "Pandora and the Flying Dutchman". I had the 78 rpm recording but, alas, it got lost some how. Enjoy her movies - get out the popcorn ahead of time!

  • This song was from the movie "The Killers", navsikand.

  • Hi there navsikand! I have to correct myself. Ava sang this song in the movie "Pandora & The Flying Dutchman".

  • Remarkable woman! One of the most beautiful women to grace Hollywood! Too bad there are not many women like her anymore!

  • Thought you guys might like to know Luka Magnotta is related to Ava, he was born Eric Newman and he is Ava Gardners cousin. Luka even looks like her. I wish Hollywood was different then it is now.

  • Elizabeth Taylor once said, "That Ava Gardner was the most beautiful woman" I agree.

  • Ava-you were the most beautiful movie goddess of the 20th Century by far

  • she is so beautiful

    classiness has come and gone

  • I said Linda Evangelista, not Dawn Davenport

  • They just don't come like this anymore...

  • This is beautifully done! Wonderful matching so many clips to Ava's brief song. As she matured, she became even more impressive-looking, I think. And she offered a magnificent acting peformance in "On The Beach" in 1959.

  • Did Linda Evangelista take lessons from Ava??

  • Ava at :28 breaks my heart every time.

  • The voice singing in this video sounded like

    Ava Gardner's voice.

  • In fact, it is HER voice...

  • Thanks for the information, wthte!!!

  • I love Ava Gardner. She's one of the most beautiful women ever.

  • wow

  • my name is Ava ,too and Ava Gardner was a beautiful women

  • What a beautiful woman she was.

  • lindíssimo!! parabéns pelo clipe, muito bem feito :)

  • Ava was gorgeous to goddess proportions, but that's nothing compared to her acting abilities that were always taken for granted. If you don't believe me, rent ON THE BEACH or THE KILLERS to see what I'm talking about.

  • wot a sort

  • wats the name of that song she sings its haunting me

  • The name of the song is "How Am I To Know"

  • beautiful. her singing is great.

  • Today she would be the most beautiful girl another time.

  • Ava is a master piece of perfection, one of a kind and very very gorgeous. She has no matches for her type of beauty. I can see why Sinatra adored her so much.

  • Totally agree.

  • Ava is gorgeous but keep in mind that there was also Gene Tierney, Rita Hayworth and Hedy Lamarr who were as equally as beautiful as Ava. Heck, the forties had the greatest beauties of all time. Liz Taylor came a close second to the above 3.

  • Hey guys whats going on

  • she craved her non filters so badly and me made cum so much

  • Ava was great! Check out The Ultimate Marilyn, these people knew the real MM.

  • I'm surprised the women flaunted their bras and nipples back then..

  • Many of the women of those days did not wear a bra. It was a case of "What you see is what you get". Now Bras are padded, uplifting and when you get passionate and unclip them the contents droop to the ubilicus.

  • She was realy beautiful.Specialy at 00:52-

  • In her prime, she was considered by many as the most beautiful woman in the world, which she was!!!

  • that song is beautiful

  • A Goddess in human form. I read her biography recently...couldn't put it down. What a woman!!

  • great clip !!!

    She captivate us.

  • Beautiful. Lady or not, she was absolutely breathtaking. And she sure knew how to have a good time. Lovely clip.

  • I picked her up in my cab. She was drunk and feffing and blinding. A REAL LADY!!! I dont think so.

  • gorgeous... no plastic there...

  • Reading her biography "Ava" and her life was amazing!

  • Wonderful video thanks.

She was truly fine actress, one of hollywoods greatest and incredible beautiful and sensual too.

  • absolutely gorgeous...

  • I think she was better looking than Elizabeth Taylor and Grace Kelley. Ava didn't have a bad angle, fabulous bone structure, perfect figure and absolutely flawless perfect skin.

  • I agree, she was perfect in every way, you only failed to mention her awesome head of hair. Opponents of human cloning might make an exception if shown this video.

  • Sorry, how could I miss it? Yeah, she was it.

  • She was ALL !!!

  • Ava is definitely the most beautiful woman in the world! Flawless face and perfect figure. Charm and femininity.

  • Oh, please, don't make me laugh!!! Never heard such nonsense!!!

  • Ava perfect figure ? Oh please ! Perfect body: this is Rita Hayworth.Perfect face: this is Garbo, Grace Kelly.

Ava is far having a flawless face.

  • @moreno2394

Grace Kelly over Ava the Goddess?! NEVER!!

  • @moreno2394

Ava is more beautiful then Grace by FAR. Grace Kelly was ok I guess, but her jawline was really square, which made her look a bit, not manly, but you know what I mean. Ava, on the other hand - had it all. Beautiful face, perfect body, sex appeal. She was gorgeous. It's said that men had to lean against buildings when she walked by. Ava, my role model :-)

  • Great job, also one of my favorites.

  • She's sooooo beautiful! *-*

  • the most beautiful woman who ever lived!
