And I know u were hoping it woulda come out blonde cause like the rest of the jet black women they're always hoping 4 something to lighten their complexion, sorry blonde hair on jet black skin is a epic fail, doesn't lighten u up, only clowns you, & those locs ain't working either, u need a softer more feminine look, instead of a "Buckwheat" look. Dying your hair is no way as bad as getting a perm. Yes, It's chemical. But it's not harmful if you keep moisturizing post -coloring. If it was just as bad, your hair would not keep your natural curl pattern.

@ItalEmpress199 oh ok because Ive read so many place that color cant lift color, so i was thinking maybe thats why it didn't lift the black that well because on other videos the honey blond came out alot brighter . I want to try the honey blonde when I do my 2nd big chop in December but Im doing my research early lol.I want it to look honey blonde , so I may have to do a strand test or something first to see how much time I can leave it on to achieve that color .

The box of dye will tell you the results you're going to get depending upon your natural or present tone. Jet black hair almost never comes out blond with an application like that.  You need to lift that color more first.

Not the color we thought we were gonna get... but I personally lyked myne.

I wore it that hue for a few weeks then redyed it to get it the intended honey blonde color I initially wanted. lol.

I was wondering how do you keep your twist in so long without them getting exxxxxtremely tangled...my hair texture is very similar to yours, and if I keep my twists in longer than 2 weeks its extremely tangled...so do you re-twist throughout the time?
