This one minute trailer, did me get an incentive to play that weird game called Mass Effect 1, a year later, and after about 100 hours between the first two games, I'm waiting on the front line for the third. :)

@moonspellsdumb although you may have liked ME1 (and i did too) unfortunately the vast majority of people who played it didn't, and so with ME2 Bioware thought that in order to get more sales (which is what lets be honest, most developers care about) they would have to radically change their entire model, which they duly did and proved very popular with most people (and unfortunately gaming is dictated by the majority). You can't just rule out ME3, play the demo and who knows u might like it :)

All the DLC available for ME2 put together costs less than the price of the actual game, and seeing as someone would have to purchase the game itself before gaining the ability to purchase DLC, the total revenue gained from sold copies of the game will always be more than the revenue from sold and downloaded DLC.

Pre-ordering a game before release doesn't cost more than buying it off the shelf a week later. I've never heard of places charging a premium for reserving a game copy, they just want you to plonk down some money right there as collateral if you don't end up buying the game you pre-oredred. However much money you put down is taken off the final price, never added on.

I swear I looked earlier this month and there was different DLC for regular pre order or the collector edition maybe it was a different dealer or bioware added it in with the regular pre order. I'm against the idea of taking content out and giving it away for preorder and or selling it to us in expansion packs. I am not against expansion packs if they give extra missions or different characters for extra replay

They were ether forced into changing the game play in ME2 or got to high off of crack to long to the point they got brain damage and thought in the middle of a trilogy lets change the game play to a dumbed down shooter with cinematics like gears of war.
Mass effect 3's combat is even more like gears of war with all the focus on melee attacks and constant duck and cover combat. Mass effect was originally supposed to be a rpg like star wars the knights of the old republic but with just guns. For some reason they decided to make it a dumb down shooter.

Storyline: If not for hilariously cheesy "DEFFEND THE EARTH" part, this has potential to have better story than "attack the bugs" of Me2. Let's hope characters are more in line of ME1(fleshed out and likeable) than ME2(mercs).
Gameplay: uhh, I hope they DO NOT streamline it even more(since as bioware proved with ME2 and DA2, for them improvement=cuttingoutstuff). RPG parts better be re-added as they promised and MORE gameplay depth. ME2 played good but it was bassically cover-based fps
@FeuerFremder Comparing ME2 to DA2 is not fair. DA2 was shit compared to DAO, and ME2 still had a lot of its moments that made you immerse into the game and actually like and bother with the NPC's.

@kikboz123 no tahts because u failed to do teh ending, there is 2 ways 2 end, one he dies, 2 he survives. u just need ur whole team 2 be loyal by doing hte missions they asked 2 do like jacob for example wants 2 see his dad. do taht misison and gain is loyalty, and also on the last mission u need 2 pick the correct person for each job.then everyone hsould survive

Storyline: If not for hilariously cheesy "DEFFEND THE EARTH" part, this has potential to have better story than "attack the bugs" of Me2. Let's hope characters are more in line of ME1(fleshed out and likeable) than ME2(mercs).
Gameplay: uhh, I hope they DO NOT streamline it even more(since as bioware proved with ME2 and DA2, for them improvement=cuttingoutstuff). RPG parts better be re-added as they promised and MORE gameplay depth. ME2 played good but it was bassically cover-based fps

@FeuerFremder Comparing ME2 to DA2 is not fair. DA2 was shit compared to DAO, and ME2 still had a lot of its moments that made you immerse into the game and actually like and bother with the NPC's.

@FeuerFremder True that. I dont think ME to ME2 was so bad. DAO to DA2 was hell of a lot worse. I loved how you could always talk to your NPC's in DAO and seeing how they messed that up and DA2 i actually stopped playing it :/

@TNFSDK There were trying to make it like Mass Effect and Failed. Use to talk to Alistair when ever I was bored, also gave you more opportunities to boost points..also they took out Sex Scenes on ME2 and DA2 DX

Each console has its own strengths and weaknesses.
