Michael Haneke got awarded with the European Cinema Award 2009 for the best script. Personally, I am happy that more and more intellectual films are coming back on European screens dedicated to European historic events and cultural influences.

I think this film has entered into the history of cinema. I remained speachless quite a time after seeing it.

In my opinion, this is Haneke's masterpiece. The trailer may seem uninteresting to you at the moment, but, trust me, the film is one of the most gripping and suspenseful that you'll ever see.
