I don't understand why 4 the life of me why people want this car. I had 1. A 1989 Chevy Geo Spectrum. Strong pts. were: throttlebody injection, analog computer, on block mechanical fuel pump and VERY easy to work on and keep moving. Weak pts.:Didn't get chics in it. :(

and ISUZU now doesn't make cars.. only trucks and 4WD vehicles...

they have just released their 4WD vehicles in Australia under their Own brand name ISUZU

@ccmaster86 You'd start with a Geo, then get an import engine from an '86 Gemini. Although in some ways, the earlier Geminis were better, as they're rear wheel drive. Holden had versions of them from the mid-70s through to this model. But the RWD versions allow you to fit the 2.6 litre engine from the Isuzu Rodeos. I'm unsure as to what they're known as in America, but I know they exist there

And it's amazing that in France you could get away filming in the Subway with people so close! Where they stunt people?

After watching this movie I fell in love with the gemini (AKA Holden Gemini in australia) but then I thought back to a year ago when I was a learner driver and my dad has the exact same model, exact same colour. It was really terrible to drive and didn't have alot of power, but the advertising is incredible! The car is really tough I give it that after I had it. Much prefer driving a hyundal excel as a budget car.

Depending upon model year it was the Chevrolet Spectrum or Geo Spectrum. It wasn't nearly as exciting as this video, but it was a pretty solid runner.

These little sh_tcans were indeed sold as the Geo or Chevy Spectrum, or by Isuzu as the I-Mark (whatever that is!). The one to get was the limited edition Sunrunner with full fabric sliding sunroof!

I wish more car commercials were like this. The creativity they had back before CGI and Special Effects made for some really great commercials. These days, car companies just focus on making the car look shiny and nice. Back then, it took great skill to handle those cars and coordinate those moves. it showed off the real talent of the cars. AND the commercials were entertaining.
