It's not paypals fault. Though apple/itunes should be held accountable for the hacked/stolen account info because the transfer was authorized from your account and paypal was authorized directly for that account and paypal did nothing wrong in that manner, or was your paypal account used directly.

I love paypal, never had any issues with them. The one time I had to apply for a refund when a vendor failed to deliver the goods was handled extremely efficiently and I got my refund within 3 days from filing the claim.

I had an Xbox 360 (JTAGable, so it was worth a fair amount) stolen from me via eBay. The user offered a repair service. After several weeks I submitted a complaint to PayPal after the seller was not responding to me which I later cancelled because they responded again. After several more weeks I had not got my console back and the seller was not responding. Of course I couldn't open another claim so I emailed PayPal, no response.
PayPal is pathetic. Both their first and second tiers of customer support have proven worthless in every aspect of "support". They did however excel in the art of anger and confusion.
I will never use them again if I can avoid it, additionally, if my information is sold by one of their representatives criminally, I will simply track them down and murder them slowly.

I've never had a problem with PayPal. I feel it's one of the more reliable ways to send and receive money online. Their fees are high, but I find them to be very reliable. Just use good passwords and password hints. Also, don't use public non-secure wifi to access your account.

I did. Everytime they froze a transaction when I purchased file sharing on line. They froze the paypal transaction. This meant my "cookie" for the service was rendered invalid. They then didnt send the vendor the money but the did charge me. I never did manage to negotiate the idiots in the India call centre to get service and cancelled my account. How did you get $350 back again from your iTunes vouchers? Was it someone you knew or something? You don't have to name names, but please tell us how that happened. The response from Apple iTunes was shamfeul as each voucher must have an identification reference, so users can be tracked.
my credit card was robbed (about 2500Euros) from some real world people after a visit to a southern county in Ireland. A better way to hurt eBay and Paypal is to continue to have an account, but conduct a sort of strike by not using your account from 7th of December, 2010 to 7th of January, 2011. Show them that users can interrupt their revenue flow.

I had an Xbox 360 (JTAGable, so it was worth a fair amount) stolen from me via eBay. The user offered a repair service. After several weeks I submitted a complaint to PayPal after the seller was not responding to me which I later cancelled because they responded again. After several more weeks I had not got my console back and the seller was not responding. Of course I couldn't open another claim so I emailed PayPal, no response.

PayPal is pathetic. Both their first and second tiers of customer support have proven worthless in every aspect of "support". They did however excel in the art of anger and confusion.
I will never use them again if I can avoid it, additionally, if my information is sold by one of their representatives criminally, I will simply track them down and murder them slowly.

I sold something on ebay, when I tried to print the postage label out, it wouldent work (it never does work with Google Chrome) I tried to reprint the label a few times, and then it told be I had reached the max limit of reprints (but I hadnt even printed one copy) I requested a refund, but they didnt give it to me, so I wasted £12 on nothing

I've never had a problem with PayPal. I feel it's one of the more reliable ways to send and receive money online. Their fees are high, but I find them to be very reliable. Just use good passwords and password hints. Also, don't use public non-secure wifi to access your account.

yea i dont like paypal much. they usually limit my main account due to my pc got hacked and i lost my access to my account then im force to make a new paypal account and close down my credit card info and bank info and apply new info and add to my new paypal account. too much haste which makes me angry.
the site screw-paypal has info on other sites then paypal which was better, also sites like ebay as well.
alertpay is the best then paypal in my opinion.

I did. Everytime they froze a transaction when I purchased file sharing on line. They froze the paypal transaction. This meant my "cookie" for the service was rendered invalid. They then didnt send the vendor the money but the did charge me. I never did manage to negotiate the idiots in the India call centre to get service and cancelled my account. Paypal have been worse than ever since they started sending more calls to the India centre. Not to mention much less secure.

I just got robbed by Paypal today! This DEADBEAT loser (ebay name stkwireless) bought not one but TWO 32" flatscreen televisions from me. AFTER I shipped them out he emails me saying, "I ordered the wrong model...sorry about that! I'm just going to refuse the delivery." I told him sorry, but I do not accept returns, as stated in my eBay ad. That motherfucker refused the packages so I was charged not only for the original shipping but the return shipping as well! $154 and Paypal backed it!

tried calling pay-pal but their online offices in Australia are not 24 hrs. & 7 days a week if pay-pal is being forced on us with Ebay. now we don't have a choice they are making billions & they cant set up local offices in Australia?? This happen to me!!! I I lost $150. Itunes wouldnt refund me and paypal wouldnt do anything either. It overdrew my bank account because I was paying bills at the same time. I also ended up paying $70 over draw fees. I no longer use itunes and I no longer use paypal. Buy songs off amazon instead.

I have gotten screwed both ways from Paypal. So as a buyer it was a larger amount but as a buyer I never got my money back. But as a seller I always got tracking numbers for them cause a few buyers say they never got their item or didn't pay for priority mail and didn't have patience to wait for package. But as seller they held the money. But as a buyer I lost $250 of my nephews money I had to give back. I gues Paypal picks and chooses which one they will give back money to.

How did you get $350 back again from your iTunes vouchers? Was it someone you knew or something? You don't have to name names, but please tell us how that happened. You went into so much trouble talking about publicising the theft in Twitter, Facebook etc., but you didn't give any idea what the conclusion was, just that you somehow got money back. How was it possible?
The response from Apple iTunes was shamfeul as each voucher must have an identification reference, so users can be tracked.

my credit card was robbed (about 2500Euros) from some real world people after a visit to a southern county in Ireland.
