honey quit crying i have eczema u need help if u think u have it mine i have it on the bottom of both of mey ears and on the creace inside my elbow so shut the heack up have a blessed thanks giving muah :P
from thegrainy footage it looks like an allergic reaction., you mention its worse in winter and you use moisturiser, possibly your allergic to a preservative in the moisturiser that you wouldnt normally use on the rest of your body, ie hand moisturiser. second you might wear woolen mittens/gloves and wool generally rash's people with sentive skin up easily.
its not excema, u have to be born with it, i still have it, didnt have it in russia ,moved to america at age 2 and was coverd in hives then it started itching really bad, , but yea 20 years now, and what u probly have is just a bug bite... go to the doc...

You are so lucky to have just a small bit of eczema. I have it really bad on my hand, and it bleeds a lo. I even have some scars from it. Anyways, that s eczema, and you can easily cure it now. There is a really good working lotion for it that doesn't make me itch at all. It burns a tad bit, but it is the good feeling kind of burn. It's called Renew. But I have a question, do either of your parents have eczema? Because it usually is a blood thing that runs in a family.
i have eczema on my arms, shoulders and legs and i'm having trouble with it, i'm 13 and i hate wearing short sleeves because of it. is there really no cure for it??
Let your practitioner diagnose your issue -- it could be a few things. Don't let anyone tell you that it can't be cured!! A skin issue is a visual sign that something within is out of balance. Lifestyle changes like diet, body cleanses and such will have a major positive impact on your healing, no matter what skin condition it is!! Good luck to you
Eczema cannot be cured only kept under control, anyone saying different is a scammer, best and only result i have had came from a lady in Australia, Melanie she is a sufferer herself has an all natural cream after 2 weeks clear skin any flare ups bit of cream on it and a couple of days gone, i swear by her. google her calmessence in australia

I have excema and it way worse its on my hands and the bottoms of my feet its actually not that bad you dont really have to do anything it'll just get better on it's own.
I was given oilatum from my doctor, i used to use it as a baby and it cleared it right up. Best bet is to visit your doctor, you may be lucky and it might not be excema. Your doctor can tell you exactly what it is.
If its excema it'll be red and flackey, also it will get itchy. If so you should go see a doctor. I have excema on my face and ive been given cream to clear it right up.
i used to have excema all over my arms!! i just put neosporin on it and it went away, but when I was younger and it was worse I had to get SPECIAL lotion from my doctor! Hope that helps! :)
Try washing youre hands with a glycerin soap, my eczema skin doesnt really like it but most doctors recommend glycerin products. You should also try vaseline - the best moisturizer for dry skin.
i hope its not, cuz eczema sucks. i have it, u should put on baby oil while ur skin is still damp after showering (cold//not steaming water) then use vaseline... and pray.
It looks like ringworm to me (a type of fungus). I've had it a few times before. Try putting a layer of 100% tea tree oil on it for a few days and if it goes away, it's ringworm. If not, you might want to see a doctor for excema medication. Don't worry :)
yeah, i think it is too. Go to the dr just incase though.. it kinda looks like ringworm (because it's very circular.) I have eczema and my patches are never ultra circular. The Tea Tree oil test Peaches3450 suggested may not tell you anything. because I use Tea tree oil on my eczema and it helps to clear it up.
To be honest i think this video is stupid!! you have one teany little spot of exzema on your hand WOW! big DEAL!! you think yours is bad you should see what my cuzen has to go thru!! seriosly your a big BABY!!!!!!
I believe she's worried because we all know that a tiny spot can lead to a BIG spot and MORE spots, etc. It'll be something she'll have to really take care of for as long as she has it.
The dryness you spoke about does sound like eczema, and it never hurts to be safe so try using a moisturizer after washing your hands. I have eczema and I have to moisturize everywhere after showering so... yeah. If it doesn't go away soon see a dermatologist. Good luck. :(
i hav excema all over my body!!! everywhere!!!!! its worse on my hands feet and knees so dont be all O NO I HAV EXCEMAAAA cuz iv had mine ever since i got the chikin pox wen i was 4 months old
Yea i have it too, I got when i was like 5. But i have it around my lower stomach. My advice is DON"T ITCH IT!! It just makes it worse and eventually spred. Mine its bearly there anymore cuz i dont itch it.
go see a dermatologyst. nobody can say for sure here, it could be lots of things so it's safer to see a doctor. Most important eczema is not a condition itself. it's a general name for dermatological disorders, eczemas are classified into many types and each has it's own treatment.
Well, I've had excema since I was 3; I'm 15 now and the doctor said it might go away from puberty but it didn't. ** IF YOU WANT TO HIDE YOUR EXCEMA** ask your doctor about Desonide Ointment 0.05%. It doesn't get rid of your excema for good but if you put it on before bed for a couple nights, your inflammed areas will what I say "magically dissappear" for a short time until you are exposed to something that irritates it (ex- cat allergies, hot showers, etc.).
Oh, and you can only get Desonide Ointment through perscription, obviously. It's very gooey and digusting and they say to use it three times a day but if you put it on at night for about two nights you will see a difference in your skin but if you're allergic to dogs or cats or of course lotions; AVOID THEM! I also found out that if you may have been lactose intollerant as a baby then cutting off on the milk and cheese can help, too.
Mine's pretty bad. Any lotion, soap, etc with perfumes makes me break out. Try using only hyperallergenic and all natural stuff.
If that doesn't help, there are commercial products. You can also use things like olive oil, coconut oil, and glaxel base as moisturizer. My skin starts getting sensitive to anything I use after a few weeks, even without medical ingredients. So rotate what you use before that happens.
It'll probably spread like it did for me. You'll probably find yourself scouring the internet for cures after you realise how little most doctors really know, like me. The scams will probably make you a little suicidal but hey, i'll let you know if i find anything. x
i have excema. and you saying you dont want excema. well your lucky if it isnt. i cream every day and my skin just looks horrible. i cant wear anything nice in the summer so i cover up ,over heat and my skin gets worse. your lucky if it isnt excema.
i've had it my whole life.. im only 13.. and its so annoying. and embarressingg,..
it all over my legs... and you think yours is bad. tough luck... i cant wear shorts. well i choose not to.. anyways... i have fluticasone propionate cream.. presciption. from skin doctor...
well mines not going awayyy. and i get made fun of it everyday in gym.. i learn to ignore the comments.
you should try getting in the ocean if you live near it. The salt water will heal your excema. I had it on my feet and in a matter of a week of going to the beach and getting in the water, my excema completely dissapeared. I think it you put sea salt in a foot bath or in a tub of water depending on where you excema is, it will do the same thing.
i'va had excema since is was a kid and its horrible, did it start of in little red dots??coz if it did it is proberly excema , go see your doctor they will be able to give u some creams or tablets for it. also try takin vitamins :)x
lol u r soo luck i have had it for 11 years and i have it evry where] well u can moisterise it with umavate r if ir is reallyy bad like mine there is this cream called special ointmint no.1
I've had excema since I was a kid. I'm 22 and I still have it. It's actually kinda sad because I've got so many nasty scars from two decades of it, and made me completely shy, and feeling ugly. Right now, it's on my chin, inner elbows, back of my knees and all over my hands.
Annnyways, best thing to do when you have it, is wash your hands, so it doesn't spread, and moisturize. but it looks more like a bug bite.
I have excema and it looks exactly like that and I get it on my hands and legs. I suffered for 10 years before I found plain old cetaphil. 20 years! I used Eucerine forever and it helped but never made it go away. Here is my suggestion: Get some cortizone-10 and put it on the spot 2x a day until it goes away. Then increase your water and limit coffee. Then when it is gone use cetaphil everyday. When it flares up- use cortizone-10. It starts as an itchy tiny red dot then grows. Good luck.
i really didnt enjoy how you are freaking out about a little spot on your hand when i have broke out on the insides of my elbows so bad they area weeps and itches and bleeds to where i cant straiten out my arm . and yeah, no cure. yeah, special lotions suck. they never smell good and they are expensive. my parents took my to specialists that just told me that i would grow out of it. i am 23 and still get dry flaky patches on my face or arms. its mostly stress triggered now. FUN!
I was born with an extreme case of eczema. i never slept well and sometimes still dont because i when i have a break out i itch all night in my sleep. in elementary kids wouldnt want to sit near me cause they thought they were going to catch my disease. even if you had eczema it would still be psoriasis because eczema is area specific. do your research.
did you find out what it was? i have psoriasis which is very similar and looks exactly like that. I have it on my scalp and on my face though my face is clear at the moment. i use diprobase cream which i get perscribed from my GP. I have special shampoo too.
it could be a ring worm. cuz if it was eczema itd be a little worse. cuz i have eczema and my brother does and my dad did have eczema. soo yeahh it could be a ring worm.
Have you been petting a kitten or a bunny? The small spot appears similar to a fungus commonly known as "ring-worm." It can be treated very easily with an over-the-counter anti-fungal cream like lamasil. See your MD to be sure. Hope you are feeling better soon!
i've got excema, your hand isn't that bad but it does looks like excema on your hand i'd go and see my doctor if i were u or get some e45 cream it's supposed to b very good!
People who make fun of this video are very rude she is just curious on what she should do to take that away maybe if you had excema you would want it to be cured so if you have something rude to say keep it to yourself.
I have Excema and i had it for awhile now and I went to my Pharmacist because i have alot more than you do and you keep moisturizing it and as I said ask your Pharmacist because she/he will tell you what you need to put on your hand oh yeah and also use dove soap it will take the dryness away Hope That Helped
Welll exema as you said has no cure, I have had it all my life , Im 14 now, Potatos bring mine up all over my legs, but ha left tones of scars, I still eat potatos but lower my intake of them it helps. Keep your hands moisturised, or go to a local pharmasist and ask about it. Mine is not as agressive but ypu have to try and hgelp it or it will spread avoid contact with your face All the time, It helps :) x
I don't think it looks like eczema. It looks more like a bug bite. If you did have eczema, I would recommend seeing a dermatologist. I have eczema and I have very dry patches on my face, arms, and legs. I saw a dermatologist and allergist, which has helped me control my eczema. I take claritin in the day and zyrtec at night. I take a special prescription cream called mimix, protopic and another cream. I hope this helps.
Ecxema, ALWAYS ITCHES AND SPREADS. You can you Betamathosone, Lidex Cream, or Lidex E. These are all steroids, and require a prescription. I don't think it is ecxema, so see your Dr. The problem with ecxema is that it goes away, but can come back in a few months t a year.
i have exema 2 you should buy this lotion for it called VANOS its really good you should ask your doctor for it, it doesnt cure it but it stops it from spreading . :] P.S i have exema 2!
Get a fucking life!! Im on here for help!! I have always had it on my hands!! Full on hands.. Cracks to the point where I cannot move my hands! Now at the age of 22 its moved to my face!!! All over my face!! Its fucken horrid!! So here's the hot tip "Precious" It will spread! Eczema always does! No one can help I have been to every specialist possible! Dermatologists, Naturopaths, Allergy testing! The whole nine yards!! Deal with it and dont complain till u have something to complain about!!!!
i have excema too! and i use cetephil it a really good lotion and i use it as a moisturize if you get it get the one in the jar not in the pump and nutrogena make up products are really good! and the elidle prescription is really good and uhm... kehils produt are also good and as a morning cleaneser i use clean and clear morning burst it helps calm the redness, im sorry to say this but excema usually spreads to the face well thats what happens to me so yeah... good luck!
listen to LovelyxLeigh.....i have excema too....very severe :( but yea it is excema.
try taking a bath....and put oatmeal in a sock...tie it in a knot....and while your bathing...squeeze the oatmeal on your patches... but don't make your water too hot cause it can make it itch more. That should sooth it :)
it looks like contact dermatitis but if its persistant its probably because its become infected with a fungus like ring worm personaly i would be jumping for joy if thats all i had to wory about i have people look at me with disgust and worse pitty because of my skin. life with chronic skin disease is like eating a chocolate moose with a mouth full of ulcers. i have no choice but to suffer but like yourself there are those who can improve on their faults but dont you know what i mean.
Oh really and how did you cure your excema???? i would really like to no hae!! um did you cure it or did you just grow out of it.. cause theres a big difference!!
Excema, is not as bad as it seems. I've had it all my life. I think oatmeal baths help. I also went to the dermatolgist. Yes, it is excema. Hmmm. This helps: No long baths. No very hot baths. Scent free detregent. and don't use tide. I use all. which has a scent free good for excema. Comment me if you would like to know more.
is there a difference between psoriasis and excema? oh and i believe it's excema, i have it. see a dermatologist if it gets bad. to treat it, i was looking online and if this is the same as psoriasis, then you're getting alergirc reactions, it can also be caused by stress, basicall eat healthy and eat a lot of green healty stuff :) oh and mine is SO MUCH WORSE THAN THAT. i have it almost everywhere
yes it is excema...i have it..and the lil spots are on my hands too....i have it on my elbows..but i also have a spot on my rist...its a lil bigger than urs...
I've had excema my whole life. Supposedly there are all types of excema that surface in different ways but my experience has been that pockets of liquid build up and it's very itchy to the point you can't get it because it's under several layers of skin. The liquid pockets burst and within a week you will have such dry skin that it cracks. Hydrocortisone creme is good. moisture must come from the outside instead of drinking water. Stay away from chemicals especially bleach! there's no cure yet:(
i personally have excema, and it sorta looks like zits.that you can't treat.dermatologists will certainly help.excema is usually on a big general area of skin, like stomach, thighs, arms, ect.i think you should be fine, but like other comments it might be ringworm.
I am not sure what you call it, but looks like a rash, I had bascilly broke out with the same thing right around my ankle about a month ago. I kept it clean, and I bought some CLOTRIMAZOLE (antifungal) CREAM.
I put this on several times a day.
It takes time, so dont think it is not working, You have to keep re-apllying it till
You should set it on FIRE! >:D
Wait....no...don't do that. That's for that other thing...ummmm...Marshmallows. Yeas Marshmallows.

If its excema it'll be red and flackey, also it will get itchy. If so you should go see a doctor. I have excema on my face and ive been given cream to clear it right up.
livy241 2 years ago
what medication did you use for your face to clear the excema,i have excema all over the place and my face really bad.plz tell me
BloodyCrush97 2 years ago
i used to have excema all over my arms!! i just put neosporin on it and it went away, but when I was younger and it was worse I had to get SPECIAL lotion from my doctor! Hope that helps! :)

Try washing youre hands with a glycerin soap, my eczema skin doesnt really like it but most doctors recommend glycerin products. You should also try vaseline - the best moisturizer for dry skin.
HardcorexMary 2 years ago
i hope its not, cuz eczema sucks. i have it, u should put on baby oil while ur skin is still damp after showering (cold//not steaming water) then use vaseline... and pray.

It looks like ringworm to me (a type of fungus). I've had it a few times before. Try putting a layer of 100% tea tree oil on it for a few days and if it goes away, it's ringworm. If not, you might want to see a doctor for excema medication. Don't worry :)

i think it is Excema....
brokenhearted4life1 2 years ago
yeah, i think it is too.
Go to the dr!

To be honest i think this video is stupid!! you have one teany little spot of exzema on your hand WOW! big DEAL!! you think yours is bad you should see what my cuzen has to go thru!! seriosly your a big BABY!!!!!!
str8cute6367 2 years ago
I believe she's worried because we all know that a tiny spot can lead to a BIG spot and MORE spots, etc. It'll be something she'll have to really take care of for as long as she has it.
The dryness you spoke about does sound like eczema, and it never hurts to be safe so try using a moisturizer after washing your hands. I have eczema and I have to moisturize everywhere after showering so... yeah. If it doesn't go away soon see a dermatologist. Good luck. :(

go see a dermatologyst. nobody can say for sure here, it could be lots of things so it's safer to see a doctor. Most important eczema is not a condition itself. it's a general name for dermatological disorders, eczemas are classified into many types and each has it's own treatment.
lucianmbv 2 years ago
Well, I've had excema since I was 3; I'm 15 now and the doctor said it might go away from puberty but it didn't. ** IF YOU WANT TO HIDE YOUR EXCEMA** ask your doctor about Desonide Ointment 0.05%. It doesn't get rid of your excema for good but if you put it on before bed for a couple nights, your inflammed areas will what I say "magically dissappear" for a short time until you are exposed to something that irritates it (ex- cat allergies, hot showers, etc.).
cathylee14 2 years ago
Oh, and you can only get Desonide Ointment through perscription, obviously. It's very gooey and digusting and they say to use it three times a day but if you put it on at night for about two nights you will see a difference in your skin but if you're allergic to dogs or cats or of course lotions; AVOID THEM! I also found out that if you may have been lactose intollerant as a baby then cutting off on the milk and cheese can help, too.
cathylee14 2 years ago
Just find your trigger - avoid - life will resume!
oh and once out of the shower - moisturise while skin is still damp - locks in vapour - keeps the dreaded dry skin away
Koshtheevilone 2 years ago
Looks like a little bit of excema there, ya.
So rotate what you use before that happens.

wait... do you think that little patch is where it stops?
FunkMasterGodOfRock2 2 years ago
It'll probably spread like it did for me. You'll probably find yourself scouring the internet for cures after you realise how little most doctors really know, like me. The scams will probably make you a little suicidal but hey, i'll let you know if i find anything. x

you should try getting in the ocean if you live near it. The salt water will heal your excema. I had it on my feet and in a matter of a week of going to the beach and getting in the water, my excema completely dissapeared. I think it you put sea salt in a foot bath or in a tub of water depending on where you excema is, it will do the same thing.

I've had excema since I was a kid. I'm 22 and I still have it. It's actually kinda sad because I've got so many nasty scars from two decades of it, and made me completely shy, and feeling ugly. Right now, it's on my chin, inner elbows, back of my knees and all over my hands.
Annnyways, best thing to do when you have it, is wash your hands, so it doesn't spread, and moisturize. but it looks more like a bug bite.
silvertear 2 years ago
I have excema and it looks exactly like that and I get it on my hands and legs. I suffered for 10 years before I found plain old cetaphil. 20 years! I used Eucerine forever and it helped but never made it go away. Here is my suggestion: Get some cortizone-10 and put it on the spot 2x a day until it goes away. Then increase your water and limit coffee. Then when it is gone use cetaphil everyday. When it flares up- use cortizone-10. It starts as an itchy tiny red dot then grows. Good luck.

Your freaking out over a patch?
I have it on my wrists down my arms and armpits some on mt back down my thighs and back of the legs in my elbows, the part inbetween my legs.
There are cures for it and you can cure it...I think
guxie4 2 years ago
i really didnt enjoy how you are freaking out about a little spot on your hand when i have broke out on the insides of my elbows so bad they area weeps and itches and bleeds to where i cant straiten out my arm . and yeah, no cure. yeah, special lotions suck. they never smell good and they are expensive. my parents took my to specialists that just told me that i would grow out of it. i am 23 and still get dry flaky patches on my face or arms. its mostly stress triggered now. FUN!
anoddshadeofgray 2 years ago
I was born with an extreme case of eczema. i never slept well and sometimes still dont because i when i have a break out i itch all night in my sleep. in elementary kids wouldnt want to sit near me cause they thought they were going to catch my disease. even if you had eczema it would still be psoriasis because eczema is area specific. do your research.
anoddshadeofgray 2 years ago
did you find out what it was? i have psoriasis which is very similar and looks exactly like that. I have it on my scalp and on my face though my face is clear at the moment. i use diprobase cream which i get perscribed from my GP. I have special shampoo too.

Have you been petting a kitten or a bunny? The small spot appears similar to a fungus commonly known as "ring-worm." It can be treated very easily with an over-the-counter anti-fungal cream like lamasil. See your MD to be sure. Hope you are feeling better soon!

PastelDulce422 3 years ago
Ecxema, ALWAYS ITCHES AND SPREADS. You can you Betamathosone, Lidex Cream, or Lidex E. These are all steroids, and require a prescription. I don't think it is ecxema, so see your Dr. The problem with ecxema is that it goes away, but can come back in a few months t a year.

try taking a bath....and put oatmeal in a sock...tie it in a knot....and while your bathing...squeeze the oatmeal on your patches... but don't make your water too hot cause it can make it itch more. That should sooth it :)

it looks like contact dermatitis but if its persistant its probably because its become infected with a fungus like ring worm personaly i would be jumping for joy if thats all i had to wory about i have people look at me with disgust and worse pitty because of my skin. life with chronic skin disease is like eating a chocolate moose with a mouth full of ulcers. i have no choice but to suffer but like yourself there are those who can improve on their faults but dont you know what i mean.

is there a difference between psoriasis and excema? oh and i believe it's excema, i have it. see a dermatologist if it gets bad. to treat it, i was looking online and if this is the same as psoriasis, then you're getting alergirc reactions, it can also be caused by stress, basicall eat healthy and eat a lot of green healty stuff :) oh and mine is SO MUCH WORSE THAN THAT. i have it almost everywhere

Stay away from chemicals especially bleach! there's no cure yet:(
wspdnar 3 years ago
i personally have excema, and it sorta looks like zits.that you can't treat.dermatologists will certainly help.excema is usually on a big general area of skin, like stomach, thighs, arms, ect.i think you should be fine, but like other comments it might be ringworm.
