Legend has it that many of JFK's SS agents were drunk the night before at Ft. Worth bars. Former SS agent A. Bolden theorizes that the SS I.D. badge flashed by someone near the stockade fence could've been obtained the night before in said bar by a pick-pocket. Sounds plausible.

But that premise has been totally demolished -- we now know Oswald was a Naval Intel, CIA & FBI field-level asset infiltrating Mob-affiliated ex-Cuban paramilitary groups who were training for another Cuban invasion. His handler was Bannister & possibly DeMohrenshieldt. Several apparently fake SS & FBI agents cleared observers from the Grassy Knoll area.

1:15 there were several fake SS agents in Dealey Plaza that day.Deputy Seymour Weitzman found Cuban born Brigade 2506 member Bernard Barker behind the fence.Officer DV Harkness found 3 men behind the TSBD building who claimed to be SS agents.Harkness told the Warren Commission that he was not able to verify thier identity.Officially the SS had NO agents in Dealey Plaza.

At 9;00 the film-makers should have used a few seconds more of the original Love Field TV footage... which shows the commander of the Secret Service, in the follow-up vehicle, ordering the two JFK car agents to leave his limosine, and the SS agent on the right is clearly disturbed and gestures "WTF!!??!"

@voidforpurpose Great movie. I saw it in the theater my senior year high school. VOID, President Kennedy wanted to be seen and no agents on the bumpers.. This was foolish as he would have lived if they were there. Agent Hill did spend some time on the bumpers when the crowds were too close. Just dumb at this point in history for a president to be in an open limo..

The agents directly involved all testified that Kennedy NEVER countermanded their orders, or interfered with their duties in ANY way.
