@AronViking OK. Jag visste inte att MacQueens var från Kanada. Smaken är som baken förstås, men jag tror att jag själv skulle föredra en Churchvarden med vulkanitmunstycke. Har hört varierande omdömen om MacQueens pipor... mest dåligt faktiskt. Nej , jag tror det blir så att jag gör min egen CW. :)

Pipe club is great, it's more or less a way to just get together and smoke. Depending on the location, finding a place to meet other than someone's home can be tough. I know my wife would kill me if there were 10 guys smoking pipes in my house.

You make a very good point. My rule on starting and running a club is to care as much as the rest of the club. If everyone wants to meet and do things great. If not then don't kill yourself trying to get everyone to get involved. I've seen many a club leader go nuts and get burned out because they were the only one that cared.

I say when you feel the time is right mail out your letter letting them know you're out there and if anyone wants to get together and smoke sometime to let you know.

@dighsx Thanks Jay. I got burned so many times that I'm getting very cynical about the whole concept. I think it's a swedish thing, because the local club thing seem to work in most other places of the world. We are complicated people. :)

Nevertheless, I truly feel the same way about taking initiative to those kind of things -- it can backfire on you, that's for sure.

Remember to come and visit us down here some day. Smoke a couple of pipes and stock up on some goodies, my friend.

Yes, I prefer to meet any local pipe smokers by chance... odds of that happening are slim though. But I know I can always come to Copenhagen and pester you guys! :)
