Defender the magical knight is AWESOME as a light monster in spellcounter deck. He saves spellcasters by removing counters off the field. So have magical citadel out built up with counters, activate dark hole, save your monsters with his effect, and attack. PLUS HE IS LIGHT :)

@jerrybake458 take trunade out for advanced deck. replace magical mallet, otherwise, put allure of dark, or gold sarc for chaos cards, or you can put in pot of duality, u need more draw power. oh, generation force has wonder wand, since you have a counter deck it will be perfect and it boosts spellcaster by 500 so its like a frequency mag in a way.

@jerrybake458 some people like to throw foolish burial with magicalexemp to discard night's and get him out but seriously its a 2200 tempest, thats pretty low power in battle when others swarm athe field (karakuri for example) and synch 3 times in a turn during main phase, you prob won't have that many counters to deal burning damage.

@Gravekeeper1000 i appreciate it and all but i would choose a thunder king or honest over defender anyday, cos wen i plyed this deck i woorrriieedd about too little spellcasters on the field for secret village but now i have always got atleast 2 out so iva put in about 1 quater of the deck non-spellcaster so its gone a bit anti meta :L ill post it wen complete :)

@coolblueforever i cba with arcanite now, iva completely changed the deck so i dont need any spellcounters and added 8 light and 8 darks, 3 chaos sorcerer dark armed and girz, its got a lot more of a competative edge to it + secret village is now in it, ill post it wen it is complete :D

if you wanna summon a arcanite magician faster i think you should add a geomancer and see if it works for you. go exemplar > spellpower grasp> geomancer then sync for arcanite

No need for the choas sorcer, your basing too many cards around him. Drop him, and add defender and at least 2 apprentice magician (he craps spellcounters),

i durno how to du like @Omalli but iva changed basically my whole deck because i dont like my spellcounters, so i run now like gale, valkyria and secret village + if u could send me ur deck list i would appreciate it :D

Valkyryia is more or less a staple in every spellcaster deck. I used to run spellcaster. I ran the dark magician version and came 2nd at locals. And if you are hell bent on spell counters, I would suggest skilled dark and skilled light magicians. If you want I can send you my list in a pm see what you think? Otherwise I think its a pretty clever build.
