actually electronic music, minimal, trance & psychedelic do exist,

but Andromeda music is not minimal at all.

It is simply progressive goa trance with lot of sounds, layers, textures, crossed melodies (etc) & is not minimal at all.

on the other hand, examples of trance, minimal & pychedelic are:

- "beat bizarre" from denmark

- "sensient" from australie

among others ....

that's not minimal at all... that's complex progressive goa (or psychedelic) trance.

for minimal goa trance, check, for instance, "beat bizarre", "sensient", "planet ben",

& lot of tunes composed around the year 2000, since there was a trend, at that time,

in the goa scene, from many projects, to create minimal psytrance.

@astralseeker when i say minimal psy , i mean not full on psy. so for me the correct genre is progressive psytrance but "minimal" is a characteristic of some sounds (in my mind),who i believe exist in this track.

is a song with very few sounds, very few audio channels,

very few changes in the tracks, very few evolution in the structure of the song.

listen to beat bizarre or sensient music to grab what it is.

in painting, in sculpture, minimal art is the opposite of baroque style.

baroque is full of colours, drawings & details, when a simple black point could be a minimal paint :-)

Nice one! Andomeda - very under-rated. I got 2 copies of Tempations - 1 to play and 1 to keep. That's all iv'e heard and i still thrash it - i reckon in same league as Astral Projection. Where are they from? I heard Spain?? Thanx for sharing.

they are 2.

1 from sweden living in portugal (anders nilsson)

and the other from greece( nikos Kostoglou).

they have produced 2 albums plus one of remixed tracks.

those 3 albums are top quality progressive trance, even 5 years after.

then (around 2006) they split, not producing or playing together.

anders also produces music as both "chromosome" & "soul surfer".

It seems they are together again producing a fourth album already released or about to be... :-)

After Much delay we can announce that Andromeda is working hard on his new album and
