I find it very hard to believe that aliens came down to earth to teach us simple stonework. There has also been research into how the Egyptian's may have had knowledge of electrical power. To me, it makes a million times more sense that religions started with perceived-to-be gods that any actual one...or thousands for that matter. @pedrohadek How else can you explain Stonehenge? Rocks were brought from 150 miles away by a group who left no written records, and there is very little evidence to even show how it was constructed. There has also been research into how the Egyptian's may have had knowledge of electrical power. All of a sudden the Egyptians who worshipped demi-god's, found the ability to; communicate, use maths, create vast, bespoke structures and delicate art. Something doesn't add up.

I agree with the a lot of what you say. But... Occam's Razor tells us that aliens are more likely than any 'God'. To me, it makes a million times more sense that religions started with perceived-to-be gods that any actual one...or thousands for that matter. It could be that all religion is fantasy based on delusion, or perhaps there may be something to all the coincidences. Look up cargo cults as an example.
In the future, we could be seen as gods if we visit inhabited planets.

Is there any real evidence to suggest we are alone in the universe? Of course not. This viewpoint is religious hogwash. An open minded person can see that there is nothing but evidence to tell us that we descend from an alien race. Nearly every culture around the world holds the belief that we come from the stars.

Ancestors did something that us today would have difficult time doing it even though we have much more sophisticated technology. Nowadays we cannot just conclude about something that we didn't witness. We can only believe on something that showing proofs and evidences. If you say All these temples were built by our ancestors - What is the proof? If you say all these was built by our ancestors BUT with the help of alien technology - The proofs are everywhere, all around the world.

There were great engineers among Ancient Egyptians. Archeologists have uncovered and investigated how likely the ancient Egyptians build those Pyramids. That huge Pyramid took more than 20 years to build. If there are some kind of Extra-terrestrial help with their "advance technology". Why it took them 20 years to build that? Today we can build a skyscraper in a month. Those aliens aren't impressive after all don't you think?
