hey why u did not take the little one ??? poor girl !!!!! she has to see only old grand ma .... but the good thing is , she does not even know what she is missing !!!!! ha ah aha
Wow I wish my parents would suprise me with a trip! The only suprise I got was going to see Wicked on my birthday (which was rlly awesome!) and going to my boring grandparents house......
"Surprise!! Disney world is extra special this year because you get to let yourself get molested by TSA workers on your way there and back!! Yay! It's all part of the fun!
And mommie and daddy will let this happen, maybe even hold you down while the nice man or woman touches you. You see dear, you might be a terrorists. They might douse you in radiation as well, but it's all a small price to see a guy in a mickey costume"
So cute! It's really not that fun to take a barely 2 year old on a trip like that (for the kid or the rest of the family). They are too little to get it, get overwhelmed, scared of the characters, get overtired, etc. It's better to take them when they're older. Little one probably had a better time in a familiar enviornment at Grandma's. Go Mom and Dad! These videos always make me cry!
I personally wouldn't leave any of my kids behind. Saying that the little one won't remember is not true either. I went when I was 2 and I remember. Still a good video though.
I remember when I was like 6 my parents woke me up at 2 I'm the morning and told me we were going to Disney land right then, they said they had packed our bags and the taxi was outside. I was so excited and so was my brother who was 7. It was something I'll never forget and I love Disney, it's so magical. Even though, now I'm 12, I still love going on Disney vacations, excited for our next trip in November(:
@Jazzyliz18 She had just turned 2 years old even though she looks older (big girl) and she had no idea. She just wanted the balloons. She's 4 now and were gonna go back and take her in a few years so she can really experience the rides and remember it all. Thx for watching!
@huskergrad95 Yea it was probably better that way, that way your youngest can get more of an experience and understand more to get the full experience and benefit. I bet the girls had fun
i think the little one did get to go. she just wouldnt understand what was happening so they didnt spend extra money for another suitcase when she wouldnt even know what was going on.
This is so cool! I cant stop watching theese videos cause i was surprised like that before And want to be surprised again! When I have kids, I may just do this! Or, I will say "let's go we gotta go to disney!" and they will probally say "were going to Disney?!" and I will say "didn't you know that? Were leaving right now! You forgot we told you!? Good thing I packed for you!" and I will act like I told them!
i wish my mom did this for me but going every year was nothing short of it. i cant wait to go! 15 weeks or 104 days hhaha :) its the best place ever!!
@ornamentis15 She was SO SO excited and did tear up a little. She'd been asking for years and years and her dream had come true. What's not on our video, is her running out in the yard screaming "were going to disney world tomorrow". It was so funny!
@babyloca1987 They definitely were SO excited!! They'd been asking to go to Disney World year after year and FINALLY we were going! They just LOVED it when we went and cannot wait to go back!
@JaninaRelapse Thank you! It was SO much fun surprising them! I was so nervous because I couldn't wait to tell them and they'd been asking to go for so many years. I'm glad we got their reactions on video. We lived so far away from our extended family at that time and so I wanted to do the video to share with them the girls' reactions. It was so great....glad you enjoyed it!
@livenlove166 Yes....we gave Disney permission but actually haven't seen it on t.v. yet but heard from several people that it's been on. We're excited Disney chose to use part of our video.
@TheIndyColt I'm glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for the positive comment! The whole experience was SO great....from surprising the girls to taking them. Were so glad we got it all on video and got to finally make their dreams come true!
@destinlover88 I thought that was so funny too! She just was happy to be there....loved the balloons! She's 4 years old now and thinks she went to Disney World with us. No memory! We're excited to take her in a couple years or so. Give her "real" Disney memories. :)
@OMGmonstah You are so lucky! I was there summer 2008, and every since I've begged my mom to go again, but she said it's too expensive:/ But we are THINKING about going again, cause my mom really likes it :)
my sister is really funny when the disney commercial comes on just like this vid a suprize trip to disney and she says it would be funny if she woke her kids up at like 6 in the morning and said your going to disney world! kids would ask "really!" she would say noo silly go back to bed hahahaha!
@jonasfan1986 I hope you have SO much fun!! It is an AMAZING place and my daughters talk about it all the time and can't wait to go back!! It's an experience of a lifetime!
It's really sad to see how discouraging some of these comments are. Even if you don't remember going, the fact that your parents cared so much to take you is the thing you should always remember :/
@LlamaSims2010 I wasn't expecting the ungrateful comments but to each his own. I put this video on to show my family and friends and kinda forgot that strangers may comment and that they may not think it was as great as me. Oh well.....
My parents took me to Disney World for the first time when I was probably your youngest's age. I don't remember it at all, so it was probably a good idea not to take her. Then my family actually moved to Florida and we lived 90 minutes from Orlando so we went all the time, so I've been a bunch. I'm 25 now and haven't been in years, but I get excited when I do go lol. Even as an adult Disney is still so fun!
@xheathermichelle She actually thinks she went....that's how little she was and has no memories. She had a great week at Grandma's house and we will take her someday in the future.
@Emilylovesrainbows2 My girls were SO thankful!!!! We don't take big family vacations and that's the first time they'd been on an airplane and everything. They can't wait to go back some day but know that it costs lots of money and will appreciate it when it happens again. Thanks for noticing!
@the4eokids We all had such a FUN time!!! We squeezed in Universal Studios and Sea World too, since we live so far away from any cool vacation places and never go on big family vacations. It made memories that'll last forever!
@blessed1969 Thank you SO much!! It's nice to hear a positive comment from someone who understands! Our youngest actually thinks she went and has no memory of going or not and no memory of Grandma's house. The big girls had an awesome time and can't wait to take their baby sister some day. :)
@jackbaseball1999 That was funny! I thought she'd love the airplane ride but actually was quite disappointed with it. Don't know what she thought it would be like. I told her that it was way better than driving, which would have taken us 2-days in the car. She was just 6 years old so might like it better when she's older. ??
I hope y'all had a great time and that is neat that you were apart of WDW commercial, however the fact that y'all didn't take the whole family is heartbreaking.
We have beenmany, our 1st time was with 1st hild and he was 11 months. Sometimes its not all about you but about the family. Our best memories are of our littles ones and their excitement. If she was not going at least not put her a position to have this forever posted. BTW we have 5 kiddos and have taken them all at various ages.
awww the poor little 2 year old cant go to disney world? :'( you didn't need to show the other kids right in front of her you know...and you could have at least given her a balloon! I'm sorry but that was just horrible! I hope the kids that did go had fun though and i hope that the little girl had a good time with her grandma as her sisters got to see mickey, goofy, and all the princesses. that is just completely unfair! >:(
@Punkrocker5100 I wish you could go! One cool thing about Disney is that my husband was 43 when we went and it was his first time and he LOVED it!!! He thought it was amazing and can't wait to go back. So, don't give up, it's wonderful at any age!
"Let the memories begin," but leaving your youngest with grandma because you thought it would be inconvenient for you to bring her. I wonder if Disney showed that in their commercial? It should be more about your children not you.
@XsweetbreezeX well then next time they go to Disney they will be sure to call you up "Mr. or Ms. Parenting God" and I'm sure they wouldn't mind you paying for the little one when she's 7 since you feel so stongly about this
@pittypat1403 Thanks for the support and everyone's situation is different and I'm glad you understood. Were not those lucky families that can afford to take huge vacations, taking everyone for 1-2 weeks and stay on the disney properties. We had to fit in as much as we could in a 4 days and stay way off the property in cheaper lodging. We will take all of us some day in the future, when everyone's old enough to ride all the rides and stay out all day, etc. Thanks again!
my parents took me to disneyland when i was about 2 years old on christmas day . i dont remember a single moment when i went.i doubt the little girl is gonna remeber anything and if she did shes not gonna remeber it clearly
@JesseVonMassacre23 Thanks for support! Our youngest has no memory of anything. She's sees pix and actually thinks she went. Can't wait to take her when she can really enjoy it and remember it. My older girls remember everything and are so excited to take their baby sister some day.
@XsweetbreezeX It was about my children....my older two. They had been asking for years and years and having to split mom and dad to ride the rides and taking breaks for naps wouldn't have been fun for a 6 & 9 year old. They can't wait to take their sister when she gets a little older.
And to think, you could have included that little cutie AND she would have been free for the parks....so, if you were really concerned that she wouldn't remember or enjoy it, you wouldn't have been out any money.
Yes, it would have been more challenging to take a 2 year old, but sooooo worth having your whole family with you. We went 3 years ago with a 2,4,6 and 7 year old and had the time of our lives. Our youngest was a nap taker and just took naps in his stroller at the parks....not the most quality of naps but figured we'd throw routine out the door for a week.. He enjoyed everything about Disney just as much as his 3 older sisters. Going this year with a now 5,7,9 and 10 year old ;-)
The fact that you only take 2 kids is seriously ridiculous. Disneyland/world is for ALL ages. She still could've had fun. I went when i was 3. There are PLENTY of rides she could've gone on. You pretty much just left her aside like she was worthless and i think that's shitty. AND you surprised the two sisters while she was sitting there so you practically rubbed it in her face that her sisters are off having a great time while she's stuck bored at grandmas.
hey why u did not take the little one ??? poor girl !!!!! she has to see only old grand ma .... but the good thing is , she does not even know what she is missing !!!!! ha ah aha

Little girl with the white t shirt was more excited aboat air plane then disney haha have fun
jackbaseball1999 1 year ago

@michaelmyerschick Seriously? She's not even 2.... She wouldn't remember it anyway! Don't judge people when you're not in the same situation.

Every time I see the surprise Disney trip commercial...... I get really bcuz I wish that was me
Punkrocker5100 1 year ago
@Punkrocker5100 I wish you could go! One cool thing about Disney is that my husband was 43 when we went and it was his first time and he LOVED it!!! He thought it was amazing and can't wait to go back. So, don't give up, it's wonderful at any age!
huskergrad95 1 year ago
"Let the memories begin," but leaving your youngest with grandma because you thought it would be inconvenient for you to bring her. I wonder if Disney showed that in their commercial? It should be more about your children not you.
XsweetbreezeX 1 year ago
@XsweetbreezeX well then next time they go to Disney they will be sure to call you up "Mr. or Ms. Parenting God" and I'm sure they wouldn't mind you paying for the little one when she's 7 since you feel so stongly about this
pittypat1403 1 year ago
@pittypat1403 Thanks for the support and everyone's situation is different and I'm glad you understood. Were not those lucky families that can afford to take huge vacations, taking everyone for 1-2 weeks and stay on the disney properties. We had to fit in as much as we could in a 4 days and stay way off the property in cheaper lodging. We will take all of us some day in the future, when everyone's old enough to ride all the rides and stay out all day, etc. Thanks again!

@huskergrad95 Any time! I know exactly what you mean! I'm glad ya'll had a great time and I hope ya'll get to go again soon!

my parents took me to disneyland when i was about 2 years old on christmas day . i dont remember a single moment when i went.i doubt the little girl is gonna remeber anything and if she did shes not gonna remeber it clearly
JesseVonMassacre23 1 year ago
@JesseVonMassacre23 Thanks for support! Our youngest has no memory of anything. She's sees pix and actually thinks she went. Can't wait to take her when she can really enjoy it and remember it. My older girls remember everything and are so excited to take their baby sister some day.
huskergrad95 1 year ago
@XsweetbreezeX It was about my children....my older two. They had been asking for years and years and having to split mom and dad to ride the rides and taking breaks for naps wouldn't have been fun for a 6 & 9 year old. They can't wait to take their sister when she gets a little older.

@Galastin It's funny that not going to school and the airplane ride were almost as exciting as going to Disney World!

I wish I could be surprised with Disney World. But it doesn't really work because I live right by Disney, so I'm never really surprised by it.
