I have downloaded the roms and used iexplorer to transfer them to the phone but they dont appear on the phone to play. It is just the sample games still. please help

Mr. Stink, sorry to bother you again. Yeah, I think I already downloaded that neogeo.zip from the oldcomputer site. I got a couple of the neogeo games to work but there is still quite a few that I couldn't get to work sadly. Have you been able to get like a lot of them to work? Is there a way that you could email me the zip you have? Sorry to bug you about this but I just want to get those other games to work. Or who knows, maybe I have the wrong roms. Damn, I just don't know. Crappy.

@onigmadoshi- you can find the correct neo geo rom on most websites. The one I have that is working is from a site called "the old computer". Make sure the rom is in the same documents folder as your other games to get it to work. Let me know if you still need help.

@1bigrand1- all I did was create a folder called "Roms" on the desktop. Every game I downloaded was just added to the folder. Nothing special.

@phazexone- what firmware are you running? It works on 5.0 and above. Also you need to have as much memory available as possible. Open your multi tasking bar and close all other running apps to ensure you have enough memory.

@MrHOTPEPPA- those titles will not work in iMame. For a complete list of working games that are supported please use the link in the bottom of my description. If the game you want isn't on that list, then it's not playable.

@phazexone- I've never encountered that error. Try force quitting the app and starting over.

All the games I want don't work. Street fighter Rainbow, red wave. No proper Pit Fighter, etc.. Where's Mario n mario kart n sonics???

@popeye190- you need to have the neogeo.zip rom in the same folder as all of your other Roms in order for it to work.

@djbrotherson -MK2, MK3, WWF Wrestlemania, Rampage World Tour and Open Ice Challenge all use the same video driver. The video driver works with MAME 0.37b5 however imame does not support that particular driver. The developer said he has no interet in fixing drivers. So you can take those games off of the playable list.

Anybody notice Mortal Kombat 2 & 3 (UMK3 aswell) crash the app? Also the option menu after you press "options" seems to crash it as well. Coin + Start brings up the Dipswitches btw

@Stinkythumbs111 I downloaded from .37b5 on theoldcomputer but I cant run some roms like mk2, mslug, mslug2. Erorr I see is: ng-sfix.rom , neo-geo.rom, ng-sm1.rom NOT FOUND. tmnt.zip works fine.

@webhead0626 - its in the help file in the app. You have to hold up, right, or down, and insert a coin to choose other characters.

any one know how to get the orphan 2 player file to work? i.e. simpsons and tmnt with a player select instead of just picking the first player at start?

@webhead0626 press coin + start for the dipswitches while in the game. Also you can download the two player version of the game. I have both the two player versions of the Simpsons and TMNT and you can pick any of the characters

@Rrho3246 - I forgot to mention that If the Roms arent showing up in the list then you have to exit the app, and then double click your home button and kill the app through the multi-tasking bar and then re-launch imame. It will rescan the Roms upon being opened again.

@eweestler305- forgot to mention that the games will run on the iPhone 4 too. The 4S doesn't make a difference. Make sure the Roms are compatible with version 0.37b5. Use the website "the old computer" for the correct Roms.

@Rrho3246 If your Roms arent showing up then they are not compatible with this version of MAME. The newer MAME supports over 10,000 games where as imame supports just over 2,000 games

I figured this out on my own but most of the roms I download give me an error message when launched... I'm trying it on a I4 not a 4s would that matter?

@ELFERNANDO17 - Yes you can delete the roms that came with the app. I did it. You just select all of them and hit the 'delete' button in the upper right hand corner and they will be removed from the phone/ipad. Thanks!
