Great turbo whistle sound ! If I ever hit the lotto,my wife knows that this locomotive will be sitting in our yard...with ten miles of track too. Great video,thank you for sharing.

It would be neat if the TVRM could acquire an old Amtrak F-40 Locomotive to pull the excursion trains when the steam locomotives are being serviced, but I still like both the diesel and steam locomotives that pull the excursion trains. :)

When was this filmed? I know that #8677 had been out of service for 2 or 3 years starting in 2004 or 2005, but I heard they were leasing it to some company in downtown now.

This is one of several 8mm videos I shot in the early 1990s. This particular one was recorded on April 24, 1990.
