There are games that run natively@ 1920x1080/60fps. Slowdowns in framerate in multiplayer games are due to lack of Cell programming knowledge. This is widely known. nAo(developer of Heavenly Sword, etc), at Beyond3d, said each SPE can "run circles around" a XeCPU/Xenon core.

RSX and Cell work as one. Xenon and Xenos doesn't work as one.

BTW, Xenos(X360 GPU) is suppose to be around 10-20% faster than RSX. Killzone2 uses the Cell to achieve 20-40% better performance from RSX. That's up to 20% beyond Xenos limit. Plus, Cell NEVER goes beyond 60% processor usage. ;)

HD DVD decoding on X360 uses ALL cores at near max usage. Blu-ray decoding on PS3 uses 3 of the 6 SPEs available to developers. HD DVD is 30Mbps. Blu-ray is 48Mbps. Common sense should take over from here. The PS3 is MUCH more powerful.

Anyways, you can see in some games out there, the PS3 got some FPS slow downs that the 360 isnt getting it. People are saying that is a problem between the GPU and the Memory usage.

Yes, its a fact that the PS3 processor is a way better, but it doesnt work right with that GPU, and we know that 360 is better for programming...

Dont say shit theres no game using more then 2 cores yet, why GoW2 would max up now with those graphics? GoW2 use the same engine from GoW1, there are little graphics improvements, nothing huge.

And btw, i just searched for killzone videos, and theres nothing really great about it, really. And the multiplayer that i saw it really looks strange.

An engineer from IBM just tested both systems last week, he sayd that any game that runs on PS3 can run on x360, and reverse, because the way that PS3 got 7 working Cores with 1 thread function and X360 got 3 Power PC cores with 2 thread running each, so if you multiply that you will see that the performance is the same, the only advantage is that PS3 got Bluray, but that means nothing, because PS3s are installing games on the HD, and x360s are going to do that too, with 2 or more medias tough.

Vugolol, that is incorrect. The engineer from IBM did NOT test both systems. He created the processors in the X360 and the PPE in the Cell. The PPE and Xenon (X360 processor) are about the same in power. The 7 SPEs in the Cell are much faster. The PPE is BY FAR the weakest part of the Cell design. Each SPE can be up to 2.6 times faster than each of the three cores in the X360.

6 SPEs and the PPE are available for game code. 4 SPEs equal a Nvidia 7800GTX GPU. Plus, RSX > 7800GTX. Think about it
