  • The violence is too much! wait... Didn't I eat meat today?

  • i dont think im ever gonna eat a tuna sammich ever again...

  • why cant they kiss the fish to death....why have to hit them, why why why

  • "Fish slaughter"

    Are you vegan or what?

  • Woops my itunes started playing ''tricky''-Run DMC/Beastie Boys, i was just like ''what a stupid f*cking song to add to the background to people gutting fish''

  • These people obviously have other jobs

  • they need power tools

  • Looks delicious.

  • @BaDMrFrOsTii And disgusting at the same time though :P

  • is the title supposed to be a idiom or do you seriously think this is violent?

I'm confused, doesn't look violent to me, it actually looks more organized then most animal rights groups :P

  • This isnt violent at all. It's kinda gross but not violent. I actually laughed when i heard the guy whistling while he was gutting it lol

  • if you think killing is cruel get from under a rock.!

You don't order stuff from asda in the wild or from you nearest animal

  • i expected to see them getting bludgeoned with a sledge hammer or something.

    how is this violent?

  • Why is that dude in the blue vest wearing WHITE WELLIES doing that kinda job??!?!?

  • not violent at all, its just like skinning a deer.

  • Violent?

  • Holy crap! I always thought tuna were like thoughs tiny 1-3 inche fish. Never knew they were that big.

  • Yeah, I am surprised myself ???

  • oh yea tuna are huge.

  • FIshy fishy!

  • I love fresh tuna.

  • thts not violent...thats pretty straight forward. Violent is taking an axe and chopping the shit out of it.

  • @Unlovedhero5 ya man, theres really no clean way to do this kinda stuff after getting an animal

  • Thats not really violent. it's the typical way of cleaning tuna.

    1. Reel it in.

    2. Gaff it

    3. Beat it unconcious with a bat (optional)

    4. Cut it's gills.

  • the fishes have eggs !!!

the white organs are eggs 1:29

  • are those dead fish there pulling out of them or are those organs?

  • poor dolphins

  • rofl.

  • what?

  • just wondering, but what is done with all of the organs of fish. i have never once seen any fish organs for sale. i wonder if thats what they put in hotdogs lol

  • Ever see fish oil pills? those are made from squeezing the livers of fish, the big white blobs of meat.

  • oh, thx, know anything else that they r used for?

  • non-fillet byproducts include fertilizer, fish meal for animals and other fish, and bait. Bones are used for fish stocks and some delicacies that require gelatin as well as some calcium supplements for those without access to shell or coral calcium carbonate. Really, very little is wasted. Only the slime and blood aren't readily used by Western cultures.

  • thnks = ) ur rlly smart, or know how to do ur research

  • guilty of both, as well as living on a coastal town in New England. But this falls into the capitalistic ideal, if something exists, people will strive to make a profit on it. If you have something that can be used for anything, you can charge for it. Look at bio-diesel. They can make it out of chicken guts from slaughter houses. Now the market value of those are through the rood (comparatively speaking) since farmers want for crops, business for fuel, and whatever else they do with it

  • again i am amazed = ).

  • yeh, i just ate salmon, but don't mind eating a tuna sandwich :)

  • something smells fishy in here...

  • Fish heads, fish heads, rolly polly fish heads...

  • omg thats a big fish :O

  • Dumbass??? Thats what slaughter is!

  • thats not slaughter dumbass they're cutting up dead fish >=l

  • hmmm nice stomaches if they exploded it would be lik small fish inside

  • these tuna worth 20k each in japan ..

  • looks so good.

  • Now we just need some soy-sauce and we are good.

  • whats the problem, the fish have suffocated cause they are out of the water, they are clearly dead!

  • These guys seem like brutes compared the Japanese tuna cutters.

  • For some reason.. I find Sardinia kind of a funny name for this topic..

  • THEY ALSO TASTE GREATTTTTTTT =D

  • How can anyone slauhgter a fish that's dead already? Im sure the person that posted this clip ate tuna! Fish dont have feelings as long as they are not mamals!

  • of cousre after catching they kill them what they going to let their livelyhood swim away?

  • That isnt violent at all, they are doing their job and a good one!

  • Wow tuna are freakin huge!

Well its not violent, they're just doing their jobs.

Plus they were alrdy dead by the time they got back to the shore for cutting/removal of organs.

All they did was cut open an entry, and removed the guts. Its not like they continously stabbed it and slit it up into pieces or anything. lol

  • What a waste- you could make an extreme high protein paste from the organs and feed it to athletes

  • woah! i never new tuna where that much of a big fish!

lol big gory with the organs but not violent

  • Not violent at all. I want that fish egg pouch though, I bet that tastes great.

  • thats pretty awesome

  • that shit will last me along ass time

  • That was about as violent as a bubble bath....

  • i watched it 10 times all i saw was guys cleaning fish, i missed a violent slaughter, or do i just possess the sense to realized fish doesn't grow by itself in butcher paper?

  • FUCKING HELL TUNAS HUUUUUUUUUUUGE

  • If you don't clean the entrails and gills out of the fish the meat spoils very quickly. That would be inhumane. Killing an animal and wasting it.

  • theyre like friggin sharks ! wow

  • sozzy to dissapoint all envirormentalists these fish are already dead, oh and tunas are killed by a wire that is stuck into their brain, this looks cruel but kills emidiately

  • Is there a humane way of slaughtering an animal for us humans to consume?

Maybe they're supposed to put the whole 200+lb fish on your plate.

  • Idk, i think animals like cows and dogs, cats maybe some monkeys and horses shouldn't die badly, but tuna, idc for a fish to much :(

  • so you only like the cute ones?

  • mmm tuna

  • wdf never seen a tuna that big in my life

  • Wow I thought tuna were small, boy was I wrong

  • another fact. that one "big" tuna fish you think is big is probably around 20k.

  • holy fucking shit tuna fish are HUGE.

  • TenchiRyokoMuyo how do u kno that most fishermen knock them out to eleviate the fear & pain?

  • please remove the misleading "violent" from the title.

  • agreed they are already dead

  • The title, and the description here is completely wrong. This is not violent. It's not a slaughter, and this is not 'just after they fished them.' This is not taking place on a boat. This is after, and taken to a facility. These fish are long since dead, so it's not like they're feeling any pain. Infact, most fisherman, to eleviate the pain and fear that is caused through suffocation, knock the fish out with a club after catching and landing the fish.

  • agree that this is not slaughter... this is processing. Title of this video is only there to get people to watch. This truly is not an animal abuse video.

  • you sure that isn't a whale? lol otherwise that's one hellava lotta sushi..

  • actually, 85-90% of the worlds big fish have been destroyed...so everyone will be fighting over the remaining fish.....and then what?

  • I am not a violent person and i love animals but this does not bother me...it's how its done and they are doing their job.

  • its just food they dont think like humans

  • I agree, I didn't see anything violent here it's just regular gutting, it's not like that on dolphin slaughter vid. I'd like to work at one of these places looks fun q:)

  • Tuna makes great sushi

  • Looks Like another Tasty tuna sandwhich to me whomever posted this must be one of those peta freaks

  • the title is wrong, its not a slaughter its a buthering, and its not a violent one, thats how its done.

  • butchering

  • Wats the huge white thing they pull out from the inside?

  • when all the big fish are gone and the fisher'men' are out of work, its gonna be YOUR taxes paying for their welfare...you won't like these fisher'men' then, will you?

  • There are plenty to go around, Bubba..don't stress.

  • whats so violent about that looks normal to me

  • the knives look really sharp to me :D

  • mmmm sushi!!!!

  • They look dead to me.

Animals cant feel pain by the way.

  • How the hell do you catch something that big? shark hooks? how the hell CAN you catch something that big good god man thats sooo huge and those big fillets of meat they were cutting out i thought to myself BBQ - ssssssssssssssssst..... man ill pay 250$ for a fish that big

  • Violent? It's a slaughterhouse ! Nice big fish tough !
