@heyydianne I'm not so sure about that because our lady Aisha(r.a) used to teach men about the deen,from what i heard but may Allah(swt) forgive me if i'm wrong.

But there are limitations like there must be a curtain between her and the men. and it is also an important matter as they must document the sunnah of the Prophet )s.a.w.) Women are commanded not to speak softly (in this case, singing) because men may be tempted. you can try to search on the net. i hope this clears ur mind in shaa Allah :)
