hey let me help you with the fraps lag, haha i know it sucks but theres an easy way to fix it and you dont have to download anything, just right click you screen at your desktop, change the screen resolution to the lowest it will go, and at the minecraft options and put FOV to about 90, dont mark this as spam but if you check out my minecraft videos, its an example of how good it works at i think normal render distance, thanks hope this helps
