  • Brilliant! How many weights and what placement did you use to stabilise the FlowPod?

  • Hi,

Same setup as in my movie "FlowPod behind the scene" (search it here on youtube)

  • Now THIS is a steadycam!!! GREAT video footage...

  • Look like the camera banks / rolls durning acceleration and stopping and sharp change in direction. Is this due to design, set up or opperation?

  • Operation. Although not a Varizoom item, you should check out the Tiffen Steadicam Training DVD and The following book: "The Steadicam Operator's Handbook" By Jerry Holway and Laurie Hayball. Both are indispensable tools for a Camera Stabilizer operator. Only thing better is the Steadicam workshops. @ about $3500 U.S. Expensive but you'll be a 1000 times better then the next guy.

  • Hi, yes I can see that. I guess its because the Canon xh a1 was a little bit to heavy for the FlowPod with 3 counter weights. But also because of my opperation...

  • I just bought a VariZoom Aviator MX Camera stabilizer. Sled, With fine tune stage, external monitor, double articulated arm and the vest with trim adjuster! This is one bad ass rig! I'll post my first use of it soon.

  • does this flopod come with glidecam or watevr to mount camera on. or we need to buy seperate.

  • If you want to mount the flowpod to your body with an arm and vest, you need to buy this seperatly...

  • looks like a nice place to work. :-) pretty cool office

  • DId you speed up your video?

  • nope, The video is 100% reltime!

  • Damn, that looks good!
