  • my record is ....never

  • 1:25 LAIK A BAWSS!

  • i can't do my 3x3x3 faster :(

  • WOW!!! Brilliant.. the video is not fake...

the finishing steps were too fast... i can solve 3x3 i m trying to solve 4x4 these days....

    very nice skills!

  • watch the cube at 0:35

  • Comment removed

  • its like watching inception

  • Look at the wire at the begining on his right hip

  • @like50somalians headphones.

  • at first i was like "whoa" but if look at the beginning a couple times it looks like it being played in reverse

  • In this time, I just finish my centers (or somethink like that.)

  • hack

  • I think this is fake. First he do everything backwards, with a watch counting down from 1:46 to 0. and then show the movie in reverse. You can even see that he "lifts" his hands off the table when the watch is still at 0.

  • @busserulls its not. if u could solve 1 u would know that @ 0:12 he has solved the black center stickers, at 0:19 he has solved the opposite of the black center (the yellow center) and at 38:00 he has solved the other 4 centers to complete all the centers. At 1:31 he completed the big step (edge pairing), then by moving only the outside layers he solves the cube like a 3x3 Rubiks cube.

  • @busserulls this is called the reduction method (reduce to look like 3x3).

  • I think this is fake. First he do everything backwards, with a watch counting down from 1:46 to 0. and then show the film in reverse

  • that was longer

  • TOO FAST

  • He did the centres first, obviously starting by getting the nine centre colours on each face to line up as well as to line up opposite each other (yellow opposite white, or whatever).

Then he worked on the edges, getting all the yellow/blues together and whatever, and once they were all aligned properly he could solve the whole thing like one big 3x3. I note how, once he'd made all the centres and edges coherent, he did the corners last. I'd've done corners first. Give me a marker. Very good.

  • it's 116 seconds geeks

  • @boo123b No, 60 seconds (1 minute) + 46,1 seconds = 106,1 seconds, basic math

  • Wow nice

  • Dude how do you move your cube so fast?

    So pro

It takes me 20 mins to solve that :P

  • WOOOT. Pro:)

  • all pro

  • i know how to solve 1 side in 218 seconds...but the whole thing ummm... i have no clue

  • i wud take like 100 year to solf thaht

  • it would take me freaking 106 days to solve a 5x5x5 ._.

  • @Mokusino

no u need algorithms so either u know how or u wont get lucky.

  • i can't even solve the 3x3

  • lol, its really easy actually, go watch pogobat's how to solve a rubix cube, its pretty cool

  • you are a fucking beast at the 5x5x5 rubiks cube

  • nice pll skip!!

  • 106 seconds reatrd

  • need glasses...

    (1.46.10)

  • fuck yu noob. btw u need glasses.. thers 60 secs in aminute dumbass. 60+46 equals 106 nub?

  • 60 = 1 min

    46 sec

    106 sec

  • have you modified your 5x5x5?

  • which is better the white or black V-cube?

  • walkie talkie

  • ya 106 seconds

  • thats freaky

  • actually nvm its just a white rubiks cube :p

  • where can i get a cube like that. and by "that" i mean a cube that has those like stoney kind of sides or like shiny or something.

  • V-Cubes are available at ebay!

  • holy shit u move the cube so fuckin fast i cant evn c wut the hell ur doin

  • lol PLL skip on this one.

  • this moves like a DIY.

Actually it is. Mr. Verdes made it personaly for Frank.

And after that 100 of solves Frank did, ...

  • 106 seconds

  • matthew... are you serious?

    60 secs per minute

  • @MatthewNe4 ....

  • f**k that kid is smart

  • If you know how to solve a 3x3x3 cube its easy.

  • holy shit o.o

  • My 5x5 doesn't move as fast as his, but then again, my 5x5 isn't a v-cube.

  • The reason it goes fast is cuz he put petrolium jelly in it

  • actually he doesnt put petrolium jelly he uses shock oil

  • how does he spin it so easily? i mean i have the 3x3x3 one and it takes force to spin and he just like flicks it and it moves.

  • V-cubes are smooth. Your 3x3 is not lubed.

  • is it a 3x3 v cube?

  • No such thing.

  • it took my 5 days to do mine i find them annyoing but fun

  • can i ask what method is he doin??

he is so fast i can solve it in 10minutes :(

  • It's a centers first method, though it's highly optimized and he's good enough to be able to spot dedge and tredge groups very quickly.

  • what are dedge and tredge groups, just like center edge and wing edge groups.

  • Yeah, that's pretty much what it is. Tredge (triple edge) is the name for 5x5x5 center edge+wing groups and dedge (double edge) is for 4x4x4 edge pairings.

  • he uses standard center strategy, for edge triplets he uses a method I've heard called "M-Slicing" and then uses the fredrich method, with a lucky solve at the end

  • Fridrich*

  • f2l plus fish permutation.....

  • I wonder how long it take Frank to solve a 4x4

  • looks like PLL skip too

  • it is

  • mine just got shipped today baby ^.^ wooooo

  • does anyone know any good sites to learn that.... my best so far is 10:13 but he is obviously using a different method

    any help would be appreciated

  • from what i can tell eh si using the standard centers - edges - solve method

  • yah i can do that but the parity pisses me off and i havent found a good explaination to fix it

  • check out thrawst's vid on how to solve a 5x5 and he explains parity on the edges

  • holy shit! i take 15 minutes dude...

  • you're a smart one, aren't you?

  • LOL!

  • 106 seconds = 1 minute 46 seconds

  • at 1:22 he goes a bit overboard

  • beaST

  • awesome cube...not so sure about the colours, haha

  • where did he get one?

  • sweet...!

  • it has the durability of a rubik's, speed of an eastsheen, and the tolerence of a DIY

  • Dude that was 106 seconds

  • IDOL!!!

    MASTER

  • Lucky solve no PLL doesn't count

Frank Morris is a good guy but he should at least post a decent solve

  • it really doesnt matter about that kind of thing, give him credit for posting tuts on how to solve the monster along with its bro, 4x4x4

  • no one said this solve mattered, it just shows off the cube.

  • he had a PLL skip

  • Gj dude =)

  • where would i buy one

  • That my friend is a V-Cube, and they have all the way up to 11x11!, but the 5x5 6x6 and 7x7 will be available on the 28th of this month!

  • where did you find this out?

  • nope, it says its available in greece in september, not sure about the US

  • What type of cuibe is that?

and where can i get one?

  • itsa vcube, wait till the 28th apparently

  • dangggg

  • he has a really good fast cube

  • its an olimic cube or a v-cube

  • holy shit i can solve a 3x3x3 in 0:59 and this guy can do a 5x5x5 in like 40 seconds more this guys good

  • wow nice man

  • ARE YOU AN ALIEN OR SOMETING?

  • wow thats faster than i can solve a 3x3 lol

  • Wow, I could never do that!

  • LMAO! neither can i. i wonder how quick MIT students can pull this off...

  • check out his hands; so sick/

  • thats so impressive, and a 20 second 3x3x3 stage on a 5x5x5? sick

  • i know ;o

  • i am the plny one who watched this?????????o_owow sad

  • Relax man it is up just for 10 minutes :)
