But unless like over half of Swedes left for Finland during the Viking Era, it doesn´t explain why most Finns have naturally blond hair. Mongoloids don´t just turn into looking Nordic after a few centuries of mixing with a small group of Swedes. I very much appreciate Swedes. They are nice, social, outgoing and very intelligent people. However, like Finns, they are quite insecure and have low self-esteem. They see Finns as competition and what easier way to try to beat competition than to label them as Mongoloids. And for Swedes to explain to themselves why most Finns don´t actually look like Mongoloids, they tell themselves that Finns have mixed with them.

Nordic type of Finns have lighter skin tone than Swedes, who get tanned better. They also have platinum blond hair while Swedes often have slightly yellowish blond hair. Even in the Eastern and Northern parts of Finland where Uralic genes are more frequent, people still often have blond hair. It takes extensive mixing for Uralic people to turn blond and for Uralic genes to vanish from mtDNA. It doesn´t happen in a few hundred years, it takes thousands of years.

This all makes sense when you think about the way Finns look. Swedes often try to take credit for Finns looking blond and Nordic and explain it by Finns mixing with Vikings. Only a very small part of Swedes were Vikings and people who moved from Sweden to Finland, were mostly authorities. There weren´t enough of them to account for the genes of such a large part of modern-day Finns. Besides Nordic Finns like West Finns look different from Swedes.

About half of Finnish men have Uralic genes in their Y-DNA. The rest have European haplogroups, mainly I1. That means Finns came from two different directions, 2000 years apart. Uralic people came first, but Uralic men mixed with European women to the extent that Uralic genes vanished from the mtDNA of Finns, which means women don´t have Uralic genes in their X chromosomes while about half of Finnish men have them in their Y chromosomes.

Nearly 30% of Norwegians have R1a, a Slavic haplogroup, the highest frequency of all Nordic country, including Finland that has only 7,5%.Slavic isn´t Germanic. Estonia is nowhere near the value of Finland or Sweden. It´s been nearly 20 years since Estonia gained independence and switched Communism to Democracy and they are still very poor and living off the wealth of Western and Northern European countries. Their nation is just like any other poor Baltic or Eastern European nation and they as people are just like any other Baltic people. They are not closely related to any Nordic people including Finns.
