@xXShadowRejectsXx Hi dude, thanks for the comment. I used 3D Studio Max R3 for the animation and composited it onto the background video in Combustion (I think, I can't really remember :o). And I don't have any motion tracking software so I had to match-move it by hand, one frame at a time - ouch! I'm glad you liked it though, thanks a lot!

Hi dude, thank you very much for the great comment. I didn't use any tracking software - I did the tracking manually, one frame at a time. I built a very crude, but accurate, model of the street and the neighbour's hedge and positioned them in the 3D scene with the dinosaur. Then it was quite easy to adjust the 3D camera, frame by frame, so that the objects in the 3D scene perfectly overlaid the corresponding objects in the background video. I'm very glad you liked it.

Easy, I just filmed a dinosaur walking past my house. ;o) Naah, I animated the dino' in 3D Studio Max then composited it over the background video (which I just filmed from the window). Fiddly, and takes a while to match the camera movements but worth it in the end. Thank you for the comment, I'm really glad you enjoyed it.

Thanks a lot dude. I used 3DS Max for the animation and composited it in Combustion. I used Combustion to add the blurring at the beginning, to give the impression that the cam was being hastily focused by a nervous cameraman, then I comp'ed the camera graphics over the finished shot. I found out that the only way to kill them is to take a ***** and trip them by ******** with the ******** and once that's done, you gotta ******** with the rope, but that's only half the work.
