huge pike (mio, michigan)

Where is Mio pond? I have fished Footesite, Cooke, and Loud Dams. At loud one time we caught 50+ walleye in half a day, none very big but if was a blast.

Very nice pike. I own a cabin on the backwaters up there on the pond, and have put MANY hours into fishing it. My best pike so far is 36 inch. Im usually out dragging bouncers with harnesses for walleye (i know, im the only one crazy enough to try this in the flooded swamp of mio pond:-)) If ya see a guy in a 10ft jon boat, powered by only a trolling motor, give me a shout.

Years ago, I went ice fishing and found a line going into the ice. So we dug it out and found a monstrous hook. Literally, like, a foot tall, and it bewildered me! I know now what that hook was used to catch, and I am thoroughly disturbed.
