  • In what way is this a Sun Salutation? Sun Salutations are designed to INCREASE heat in the body, hence the reason they are done at the beginning of most yoga practices. This sequence is clearly much slower than typical Sun Salutations, especially B. I have seen/heard of this being called Sun Salutation C, but it is more commonly called the Moon Salutation. Look up a Sun Salutation video and you'll notice the difference immediately.

  • this sun salutations, not moon salutations. please correct the title.

  • @v0larevia this isn't like any sun salutation I have seen. I have never heard of this sequence though.

  • @pheshstar

true, this is a very unusual sequence to sun salutation, but it's closer to that than moon salutation. which is COMPLETELY different than this one.

  • ego yoga hypocrites...take a gander at Denise Austin's yoga vids if you want to see real travesty! I like this site and if I could figure out paypal I'd probably pay! PSTaught Hatha Yoga for 20 years...get over yourself please...

  • Lisa, you should not be teaching. This is not chandra at all. Someone made it up and now you are teaching it. Irresponsible and bad karma.

  • not moon at all!! please retitle as surya namskara B

  • Not Moon Salutation.

  • This is Suryanamskar. It is Sun solutation. It is not something you invented. Please remove this video.

  • Thanks ;-)

  • wow, this was very invigorating and warming to the body. the half crescent was great for stretching the hip fluxors. The only critique I have is that we should spend more time in the poses! :)

  • Hi this is not Moon Salutations - please correct the heading on top ! As the comment below reads, it is Sun Salutations !

  • Sorry, this is Surya Namaskara, the sun salute!!

    SURYA NAMASKARA!! not CHANDRA

  • thank you, I will!

  • i loved all of ur videos. i never actually found inner peace untill now. keep up the good work.

  • this sequence does indeed incorporate chandrasana but it is not a moon salutation which contains 14 poses to correspond to 14 lunar cycles you need to study more.Yoga is getting too far from its roots.

  • would you share a reference we could all study? would love to learn!

  • look for publications from the Himalayan Institute in Honesdale Penna. These are people practice and teach Raja Yoga. They have some cool old books written in the 50's and 60's. Hope this helps.

  • That was AWESOME

i'm going to use it everyday.

i actually found inner peace for 9:59 minutes..

  • Lovely visual and directions but with the addition of child's pose, this is Surya Namaskara, Sun Salute. A bit confusing on this front but good job.
