  • FACT! most of this shoes are made in the PH! she is wearing it to promote filipino talents in fashion shoes wherever she travels

  • i do believe that we are a poor country but I'm still hopeful that we'll never remain as one, but laziness is not the cause of poverty but rather it is corruption.. sad to think that there are Filipinos who think such.. how can most of us work when there are few availability of jobs?.. think of it?!=(

  • many of us Filipinos are NOT lazy! and every FILIPINO has no right to label such! in fact they are known to be HARDWORKING! And for those who THINK AND SAY OF IT are clueless of what our ancestors and the oversea workers been through or are currently into.. they have no idea of the sacrifices that they did for the sake of their family, for the sake of a better future, and for the sake of our country!!!!=(

  • Philippines: Shoe Capital of the World???? O.o

  • I have several shoes also, does that makes me a corrupt person? Several of Imelda Marcos shoes are made in Marikina. Proud Philippine made.

  • That would be Heaven <3

  • How did I get here? I was listening to Hatsune Miku d-_-b

  • PHILIPPINES <3

  • I should stop commenting here..Lahat kayo binayaran ni Bong Bong para magkalat nang false informations..Yan ang typical na Pilipino Politicians..Wala nang tama o mali..Puro pera lamang ang mahalaga.

  • I <3 shoes! My shoe collection rivals hers but I have been trying to shop less, giving a lot away to the poor :)

  • Imelda's life story is better than "Cinderella". Cinderella became the princess when the prince married her and that's it, a princess. Imelda, the true Cinderella, after she married a powerful man, worked hard to build the Filipinos hospitals, parks, housing, education, and many more..Despite the "pangmamata" of the jealous ugly socialites, Imelda emerged far more beautiful inside and outside than a hundred of them combined. Until now, she is still alive and well and happy.

  • ACCEPT THE FACTS. MOST PILIPINO.PILIPINA ARE LAZY.THIS INHERITED TO SPANISH 300 YEARS BACK

  • .... My 6 pairs of Supras cost more than that whole museum.

  • @dseigle i bet u keep coming back to rate yourself up. your comment sucks!

  • They should put my shoe in there, i got a mushroom growing out of mine :D

  • then how do you account for all those salvatore ferragamo, gucci, charles jourdans, bruno magli, etc shoes? decoration...?

nevermind the jewellery and real estate, furs, designer purses, cloths.

  • Imelda help them, she tried to help the shoe manufacturing sector become also just like the italian and french but i guess the opposition was to buisy ........

reporting false allegations deception and propaganda just to get the Marcos's out of power...................i bet you the shoe industry in the Philippines cannot wait for Imelda or another Marcos to get into power so that they will again SPORT Philippine made shoes back abroad in Govt. trips to many other lands to show our craftsmanship

  • why is it all the foriegn countries compared to canada and the states all have crazy things

  • shoe museum? big deal

  • i have a shoe museum in my closet

  • Oh my fucking god, i want those shoes alll!!!!

  • next door to the Museum is the sweat shop were they make nikes! lol

  • In response to corrupt vivavoce83

    1. Forgive and forget.

This seems to be one of the hardest things to do for all, because theres nothing to forgive & forget in the 1st place.on the side of the marcos

With regard to the millions of Filipinos who were benefited from the abundant & progressive economy under the Marcos regime, the aforesaid expression would be nothing but a vagary.

  • EPAL KA.

  • 2. To forgive would be possible but highly improbable.

It is painfully apparent that until now, no apologies are forthcoming from the Aquinos.

Is this because of Corys firm belief that she was a divine being, together with her late husband blabbermouth ninoy abnoy aquino sr..?

Surely, God (or a god) asking for forgiveness is a very absurd proposition.

  • EPAL KA.

  • 3. To forget is not only improbable but highly impossible.

How could one possibly put out of mind those days of tranquility with zero crime rate!! No criminals & no corrupt lawyers like vivavoce83

There's really no way of forgetting except for those people who truly suffer from amnesia and those people who were blinded by deceit of abnoy aquino sr. & his demonic minions, thus choosing to live in a state of oblivion and denial

  • EPAL KA.

  • clap clap clap.... corrected by ka dian........nice comments. ilike it

  • Justice may be delayed. Justice may be elusive. But do not lose hope. Because justice does have ways of emerging triumphant in the very end. LONG LIVE MARCOS!!!

  • LOOK WHO'S TALKING.

  • okay lang na maraming pairs of shoes si Imelda kasi First Lady siya, iyong ngang friend ko ordinary lad lang siya ang daming niyang shoes, iyong iba nga hindi pa nasusot, wala ng paglagyan sa bahay nila, nakakalat na lang iyong iba sa floor and she keeps buying shoes, iyong iba signature, iyong iba naman ordinary label lang.

  • hmm... they must have a big foot fetish there xD

  • you're so pity.. iisang pares lang ng shoes mo..sigi bigyan kita. marami akong shoes nasa karton.pero 'kaw na magpa-repair..

  • YOU DON'T know THE REAL EMILDA WAS! you westerns demonizes the marcoses the that they marcoses wishes to lose your grip into the philippines.

  • ........EMILDA who?..leche!!ayusin mo naman ang pag type mo bisaya...

  • shaburuware is a fucking stupid filipino.who until now still believes the lies about the marcoses.who the fuck you think you are you tagalogs idiots who until now gripping the philippines sucking down to the bones.i'm a european asshole speaks fluently bisaya ...you don't know emilda from imelda you stupid fuck because you knew knothing about the marcoses.you don't even know how to curse you freak bitch.putang ina mo! iinomin ko yang letse mo!

  • hmm... people here.. try to read the book with title "the world's greatest political scandals. you can see the life of imelda. she was pity when she was a kid. no shoes, nor slippers... well,I understood why she loves so much of shoes..ikaw? ilan ang shoes mo? if ordinary people can afford to buy many pair of shoes ,how much more the wife of president. siguro kahit ikaw pa ang naging wife sa presidente.. mas marami ka pa sigurong shoes than to Imelda.

  • sapatos ko ialn pares? isa nga lang eh..made in marikina..kaw ilan? siguro dami ka shoes noh? pahingi nmn...wawa me eh...

  • all we want is to crucify IMELDA MARCOS!!

  • What? made in marikina? hahahah...they are not made from marikina ...hehehe...they are made in Italy.... wherever around the world....not in the philippine made...Imelda, low class? No way...hehehe..she's impaktita...hehehe

  • signature or locally made, its no sense at all..anyone can acquire such voume of shoes..remember they were in power for more tahn twenty years..no one will give a singel pair of shoes as a gift, a dozen i believe and she reallyloves shoes and she kept on collecting and not throwing a piece..ikaw ilan ba sapatos mo?..marami lang talagang nakisakay sa drama..pero saksakan ng katangahan lang talaga ang mga nakisakay.

  • 1:17 <------Lucban Pahiyas?

  • shoes is not important its the boobs and ass that is most important jesus people

  • i doubt it, the reason why filipinos are poor is not because of imelda's shoes.

let's face it, many of us are lazy, couch potato. Then put the blame on someone else, many pinoys prefer gambling rather than working or even finding one, taking chances on lottery...

besides, imelda's shoes are not those labeled or what we call signature... what she had were from MARIKINA, locally made, and it goes with her clothes, she's always in a filipiniana dress, a terno.

  • very true... the problem with filipinos is that they watch too much drama that their life becomes melodramatic!!!! puro mga telenovela!!!! start working your asses off and invest in your mind to have a sense of maturity... don't you always blame it onto others when in fact yourself has done nothing to uplift the philippines!!!

  • its not a shoes or clothes of Imelda its about her money kung totoong makabayan at leader sya sana na yung hundred of pairs nyang shoes tinulong nya nalng sa mga mahirap, yung mala perlas nyang kasuotan at mamahalin yang mga damit sana itinulong nya nalng sa mga tao. wala syang kasing hayop at gahaman sa pera! hindi nya maddala ang pera pagnamatay sya! hayop sya!

  • @dseigle42 -

like (dlacaden) said most of the irresponsible journalism &reporting during the 19070's and 1980's happened during the Cory administration it was unregulated infact over 900 lawsuites were filed against Imelda all to most of them were thrown out of court because of insufficient evidence just like this shoe collection BLOWNUP to make Imelda look bad, when infact most of her shoes are made in Pinas given to her becoz she was the ambassador of philippine shoe desingers she help them

  • That's why the Philippines poor coz she is crazy for the shoes, clothes & diamond !!

  • not that weird.. i live in a city called Waalwijk in The Netherlands where we have an shoe museum.

  • that what made philippines so poor

  • Ha ha...!? What?! This is the funniest and most confusing comment ever. I love you Koldsex and your wacky sense of humour!

  • would have been funny if there was a clip of quagmire getting caught sniffing all the shoes in that museum

  • Giggadie

  • bush should be over there

  • hahahaha!!! thats too funny!!!

  • its not "mehrikina" its pronounced "mahrikina"...

  • It is pronounced Marikina in Tagalog

  • ummm... ur stupid.. most men wear atleast a size 10... my husband wears size 13.. and.. men and women shoe sizes are different....

  • I love that not all the shoes are embellished, and a lot of them are casual footwear. I do have to wonder though, what would be the punishment for wearing sandals and socks?!

  • Mehehhee...erected...mehehe

  • We have a shoe museum in Toronto too. Whats the biggie?

  • In Belgium, in the town where i live we have one to :O

  • Are the shoes all from one woman? :P

  • Good question. The one where I'm at, no. I'm not sure about the one in this vid.

  • yeah..all that 2700 shoes belongs to imelda marcos

  • yes actually she has 3000 shoes...

  • *jealous* That is a woman's dream place. That's where I'd go if I had money!

  • those shoes on the museum at marikina belongs to only one lady.imelda marcos.

  • Yes! So the video says!! Pretty crazy huh?

  • wow

  • damn tajiris old theme

  • ive been in that museum....and its boring..

  • damn for all time

  • lol foot fetish

  • Marcoses shld be appreciated for lot of things they have done in the Phil.i.e. Cultural Center,Film Center, Kidney Institute,Heart Center,Lung Center and a lot more....

  • si imelda un ibang sapatos niya bigay lang sa kanya at least nagsusuot siya ng gawa satin kasi mga pinoy hilig imported..kung un pinas ba idevelop natin un shoe product di marami pa un magkatrabaho satin...

  • What province and island is this town in?

  • it is not a province...it is MARIKINA CITY in METRO MANILA, PHILIPPINES.

  • It really doesn't matter how many pair of shoes one has. In fact, there's nothing wrong about it. What's wrong is if you steal it from the people... the very poor people that you claim you love and represent. That is one of the worst crime in humanity.... to live in opulence when the rest of the country is hungry and miserable. To this day, It's sad to know that the Marcoses and their cronies don't think they did anything wrong. Hell is their ultimate punishment, if there is one.

  • be patriotic, love thy own country, we should idolize Imelda for despite of being the first lady she wears stuffs that are made in the Philippines, unlike most of the filipinos nowadays who fancy imported and branded stuffs, wear bakya and abaka sandals instead of Havaianas

  • 50% of my collection is Pinoy made shoes!some of them is really made from abaka...and they are so beautiful! i'm very proud to wear those shoes in summer in ITALY,they open ask me where is the place made from.

  • Well.if I am not giving away my shoes, I will have more shoes than Imelda. These shoes a lot of times gifts from people because she is in power, also she developed the shoe industry in the Philippines in Marikina. I also like the PI shoes and flip flops.Americans liked them, too.

  • i work in italy as a OFw,and i have 300 pair of shoes...she's not my idol, but like shoes!!palagay ko kahit di sya naging 1st lady kaya nya rin bumili tulad ko ng million pairs of shoes!

  • talaga lng ha..1 million shoes kaya mo ..ka level mo pala c imelda..sakit nyan s tenga samantalang andyan k lng s italy...ano b trabaho mo dyan?? be humble!!

  • i am a simple opis worker and my hubby is a simple person with his own private school(musical school)....opps take note i said i have 300 pair of shoes not a million, cguro kung inipon ko lahat ng shoes ko mula ng baby ako baka umabot nga ng million!and what do you mean anjan ka lng sa italy?i dont understand why ur commenting my comments....not the video!

  • opis worker ba? di b napag aralan ang spelling ng office at hubby s inyong opisina? kahit saang part k p ng mundo kun anong meron k itago mo n lng..sarilinin mo n lng..alam ko ang hirap ng buhay s ibang bansa kc andito me s germany pro di yan reason para mkipag habulan k ky imelda..napalingon ako s comment mo eh kya wala lng di ko natiis...

  • hehehhe...di ko pinagsasabi kun ilang shoes meron ako and i think all the woman`s passion are shoes but you don`t need to tell every body about it..just to show how luxus you have in your life.. if you have it then just keep it on your own effort but to be trying hard at your "opis" and "hubby" well this is the proof of your quality of life and your shoes..

  • i had 800 pairs of shoes, all original and signatured, from simple sneakers to sophisticated ferragamo, some shoes even have diamonds, but i can confidently defend my vanity for having them paid from every centavo that i worked for.

  • char!

  • kulamin si imelda marcos!!!

  • ipakain sa pating si imelda marcos!!! you're right gomarilag we don't need that fuckin' bitch!!! putang inang yan!!! she's dillusional!! pag nakita ko yan batuhin ko siya ng sapatos ko!!

  • around 300 pairs

  • How many shoes did Imelda Marcos have during her lifetime? Is it true that it reached more than a thousand and that some of these shoes were laden with precious stones? I saw a documentary once where she showed her collection of other accessories, which have shoes as the main design. Imagine having very tiny shoes made of jade as earrings. Now, isn't that a fetish? lol

  • I know these are custom made shoes.

Do the shops have the quality of leather that Italian shoes are made of?

If so, could someone please tell me an approx price of men's shoes of very high quality like the Italians make? Any help is appreciated. I know cannot be exactly, but a price range.

    IR LUCKEY THANKS YOU!

  • Madame Marcos is what we need now to pull us up again! Please Come back!

  • oh shut up!!!!! we dont need her!!!

  • See what a trend that Imelda started? I think that her shoes were the only positive thing she had going for herself!

  • don't forget birth control. she encouraged it.

  • sayang ka pinas

  • It is also the cleanest town in the Philippines. The fee for littering is very high. For some litter you can go jail, But Marikinians are very happy to cooperate.

  • i wanna go there!!

  • dude... in your description, it's not marikana, IT'S MARIKINA. it's a must see. we went on a field trip there when i was like 3 or 4th grade...

  • wierd... im a pinoy and i never knew there was a shoe museum in the phillipines...

  • didn't imelda also build that enormous palace that was horribly decorated and have a horrid fetish for pink too?

  • WOW I WOULD DIE TO GO THERE, lmfao not really. but i would love to go there, i love to buy shoes, MY UGG'S ARE MY FAVOURTE, btw. not knock-off emu's, that's all i have to say. (: ♥

  • i've got the feeling ur a girl...(lol)

  • Hence the name Shopaholic953

  • Well the marcos' did steal a few billion from a country that could have used the money for food, their own country. The whole bloodline should be executed for treason and fed to crocodiles.

  • is there vans there?!?

    like the shoe company! lmao.

  • Imelda marcos is still alive and still breathing with his own mouth and actualy he is so DAMN CRAZY on shoe's whats so addictive with shoes? unlike its nike or jordan shoes lol.

  • Too bad Imelda Marcos is a woman you stupid douche.

  • i must go there!

  • do u think they have DMs there?

  • awesome!!! p.s any of u guys say people whoe make shoes are poor think about it alomost EVERY ONE HAS SHOES IN THE U.S AND MANY ONTHER COUNTIRES

  • You are a fucking retard, ever take Circa, or Vans into consideration?

    Adidas? Nike? Converse?

They are the major producers of footwear in North America, and all they do is sit around and design shoes, nobody actually makes the shoes, they have machines do it for them making thousands of pairs per day.

Although someone who makes shoes by hand can make maybe 20 pairs a day if they work really hard, selling them for very little.

So shoemakers like that are indeed VERY poor.

  • While your reply was intelligent and valid,I think it was in poor form and nasty to call someone a "fucking retard".

  • lol

  • LOL...guys...make ur grls happy...take them there :P

  • that place its like.....A DREAM COME TRUE!
