True, some Arabs are fed up with how their politicians use Israel to cover up their own problems. But those who are fed up drown in the ocean of those who are not fed up, but are eager for a fight.
All the efforts to "show Arabs that we are here forever" and "we came back to our forefathers' land" are nullified by 18 years of Israeli governments' willingness to surrender these very lands in exchange for a meaningless word "peace." As for the "disengagement" (actually, self-expulsion) from Gaza, I have no words. Sorry, but actions always speak louder than words.
Generally, one cannot convince a Jew-hater not to be a Jew-hater. It's been tried for 2000 years. The only thing that can convince one in this case is a bullet in the Jew-hater's brain and a Jewish victory in a war.
It seems to me that Mordechai Kedar too is being a politician, trying to convince us that what he is doing is oh-so-needed, so that he can get his bread-and-butter from it.
What is really needed is not appearances on al-Jazeerah with impossible attempts to justify Israeli position, but a big royal "Fuck you!" to this whole Jew-hating world.
