cool progress! the speed of the character seems just right (not too slow, but slow enough to maximize the amount of time to get across the screen) and nice detail of the sprite...is his head a separate sprite from his body? that way u can reuse the body animations..will u implement jump height control,and are u designing a new sprite for the jump animation? will there be both music and sfx?
@jeffthecoder - we are maxed out on sprites so i dont think we'll be able to get a specific jump sprite in there. the character is made up of 2 sprites - if we have enough space we'll put some sfx in, only time will tell
@smila007 I know how that goes. I found myself sometimes using the "top of the screen" memory to squeeze in an extra sprite (don't do that)..I can't wait for this thing to be released, for I WILL be buying it. Oh hey, in the old nes castlevania games they used the "ducking" sprite also as the "jumping" sprite, maybe you could fiddle with that and see how it looks, idk. Keep it coming!

Looks like a really nice C64 game. Sort of reminds me of Dracanus by Zzeppelin Games :) Hope this one gets finished and released.

yeah its kinda looks like draconus with a bit of impossible mission gameplay mixed in.
Its getting a commercial release so it will definatly be finished.
The map is completed and in - next up is placing the objects and baddies
