I have a large collection of digital media, but nothing beats the real thing! When I get rich I plan to purchase all that I have collected on my HDDs. Or better yet, build a library full of anime dvds and manga open to the public. Then invest the remaining half of my riches into the anime/manga industry. Fuck yeah.

about $80 on a box set but i buy most of them online or at Best Buy because they are much cheaper than cons or anime shops. i do try to support the local shops though

Haha yeah I am broke though! I was lucky to get some of it for birthdays and holidays. The rest was either painfully expensive or on sale somewhere.

Being an otaku is fun, but the being broke part not fun at all lol ^u^

I am envious of your collection. I wish I had .hack// and Trigun and Gundam and and and... Um... I wish I had lots of anime. Sadly all I have is a couple of Miyazaki films. Naussica of the Valley of the Wind, Spirited Away, and Howl's Moving Castle. I want Trigun, DBZ, Mobile Fighter G Gundam, Rurouni Kenshen, Yu Yu Hakusho, Cowboy Bee Bop, .Hack//, Azumanga Daiohand a couple others.

i kno right. but i guess lain cant e fully apreiciated unless you see it 2 or 3 times with both english and the jap dubs. its too complicated and has too much forshading to only watch once. it's an amazing series and one of my favorites. have you seen Mushishi. its good too. its equavalent to lain in awsomeness n my opinion. (twice as many episodes XD)

I have only seen about the first 6 or so eps of Mushishi but man that show is great too. I must admit that I haven't watched Lain in Japanese yet. I guess that there are a few things that they changed. The opening song to Lain is still one of my favorites of all anime. What other wall scrolls do you have?

I prefer lain in jap, but its great both, and i love the intro *-* definitly mandatory to finish mushishi. (the english version is ok. ginko= roy from FMA. japanese version is good also. :))

the wall scrolls i have are:

FMA, Inuyasha, Death note, and Rurouni kenshin. actually, my full collection is poted in my description on my profile. im probably gonna make a video today. i'll post as video response to this. :)

I look forward to it! I will have to search for the subs of Lain. Mushishi was a title that my friend told me about. I thought that I was the anime connoisseur lol. I definitely have a like of a lot of English dubbers because I get lazy sometimes. Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champloo had good dubs. When you do your video, show your scrolls. I bet they are very awesome!

Thats quit an Anime collection you have there. See you have films by Makoto Shinkai he does stunning work with Place Promised in our Early Days being my favorite. Will also agree Serial Experiments Lain is a good series I enjoyed it as well.

Thats awesome that you like Shinkai. If I were to be asked, I would pick him as my faveorite creator. People usually say they don't like his work because they are slow, but so is .hack//sign and I enjoyed it immensely. I really am a fan of slow paced anime with stunning visuals lol.
