I am a recent convert to the silents but not to the music of the era. This was first class editing. I started watching the silents on Turner. I fell in love with Brigett Helm in the revised version of "Metropolis". I have her on my wallpaper and now along with Norma Shearer, Norma Talmadge, the Gish sisters and Brigett Helm
I was listening to Iron Butterfly's In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida and then chose a version with "The Simpsons" called "In the Garden of Eden" and then I ended up here on a recommendation from YT.
When I was a little boy growing-up here in L.A., I so remember my father taking me to see this at the old "Silent Movie Theatre", and loving this. I just saw it again 2-weeks ago,on video, and fell in love with it all over again! When I was a child, Corinne Griffith was a well-known Beverly Hills matron, and author of "Papa's Delicate Condition". Lewis Milestone who directed this with such flair, style and wit, went on to become one of the great directors of "forever". Great job! R.J.

The garden of eden. Did Adam and Eve eat an apple or is there more to it? Many false teachings exist on this subject. Ive done a in depth bible study, breaking the scripture all the way back to the original languages. What wouldnt they tell you in sunday school? Please feel welcome to grab your bible and join me on my channel. God bless.
why is everybody giving this person all these thumbs down?If you don't want to join him for bible study, then don't,but I don't see anything wrong in bringing up the subject of god!If only people would object to all the porn and crap that's online so strongly.oh the shame.
I love the fact that Lowell Sherman plays the EXACT SAME ROLE in this film as he plays in "Way Down East", except in this film he plays it for laughs!
GOOD GOD - I am SPEACHLESS! I've never even heard of Corrinne Griffith, simply AWESOME! And set to Django's 'Minor Swing!' Absolutely HEAVENLY! And so, so Fricking HOT, yet so innocent & beautiful at the same time - MIND-BLOWING! What a marvelous production you have done here "thisgunforhire05!"
Yes Sir! This is simply extraordinary what you put-together here! Corinne's 'expressions' are so perfectly timed to Django's & Stephanne's chops - GREAT JOB - You just can't stop watching it! You obviously have a talent of your own as well for putting this together so 'tight!'
Yes, it's a shame. She was a massive star in her day. Apparently she was also a first rate businesswoman and when she died, left a fortune of something like $150m!!!
Unfortunately, only about ten of her films survive today. She was actually considered one of the wealthiest people in the world when she died and probably one of the most poised and intelligent ladies to ever be in the film industry. Thank you for your comments!
Do you have any more film clips of her? If so I would love to see them! She was considered one of, if not THE most beautiful woman in Hollywood in her day and it's easy to see why!
Nice!

Great video clip and I've given you five stars. I've created a video clip featuring Charles Ray and many other 1920's movie stars.

Yeah, she's about 35 years old here. Unfortunately, a lot of her films haven't been restored for public viewing.
