I really dont understand ANYTHING in this video. And I have experience in Flash. You need to be more specific and helpful. That is what a tutorial is all about!!! Dude you are going over this way to fast. You need to slow down and explain!!!! Explain where everything is. This is a tutorial. That means an INSTRUCTIONAL video. You need to assume that the people watching this video have NO knowledge of flash or even computers for that matter. You need to be specific or dont post ANY videos. The unspecific fast paced videos are really getting on my nerves.

if anyone knows, please help?! on the vid, the value of x for the master is 0 but when putting this on a website and when the links are not wanted at top corner, ..i.e different value of x for the master, what do we change in the action script, because i tried this and the pointer stays to the left and it gets all messed up. I'll come back and say if I figure it out, but please help!

When you specify the 435 and the other number(when talking about not having the glow go off the stage). Where do you get those numbers? I am doing this but at a different size and I have tried changeing those numbers but it doesn't work right. My width was only 274. How did you figure out the numbers to keep the glow from going off your stage?

I created the buttons fine every thing works. But lets say I want to add some tween between the button state ( Up, Over, Down, Hit ) so the rollover state happens more gradually. Is this possible?

of course it is. You just have to create new symbol inside the button for frames: over and out. And inside the symbol you just have to create a tween. for example you set it's alpha property in the first frame to 0.5, and in the 20th set the alpha to 1.

To everyone getting the TypeError: Error #1010, remember to give your glow an instance name! I had that problem, too. It will fix it. :D

I was receiving the same error and it was because one of the objects(instances) you referenced in your AS was to an object either not named or spelled differently. You must give each of your buttons an instance name in order to reference them in the AS (that was where my error was at least).
