I denounce the police intervention in a peacefull demonstration. Its an uncivilized act. Our country is too politicised, too polarised. We desperately need some semblance of stability. So, I'm against street agitation too. There're other ways to voice grievances. We all should overcome emotion and act in more civilized manner.
it's really unfortunate that our beloved professor Anu Muhammad had to endure this much just to speak for people. We, the people should speak up now. Don't let his efforts go in vain. Please, raise your voice against our external enemies and their internal collaborators. As he said, this entire Bangladesh is ours. First we have to realize it, and then we have to ensure out rights, be it by dialogues, be it by street processions, or be it by revolution.
May be we don't have the time to create words. Plz let your all expressions and reactions turn into stable protests. If u can not come out to the street, at least become aware of what is happening. Talk to your friends, your colleagues, and tell them to tell others...that the resources we have-Oil and Gas are ready to be stolen by the 'Authorized' hands of the Government. Let us be united in this protest!!!
@SharminSharmi: @SharminSharmi: Say, for instance, I told all my friends about the repression and protest, and the conspiracy behind natural resource looting. And consequently they tell their friends too, and like chain reaction it continues. Do you think such sharing of information can really bring any change? Or can have any impact on policies. Not at all, I think. We think internet has given us freedom of information and power. Its a big hoax and We are entering into new age of slavery.
Thanks for the video. We are in solidarity with Anu bhai and the movement against the gas and oil companies. Shame on the police and the government for this injustice.
Thanks for uploading the Video Shahidul'bhai. I expected to some detail in BBC Bangla. But they are wondering about the depression sickness of Bengals and reported in this regard mainly on the biological reasons... what could be more depressing to see one's own teacher beaten by the police on the street just because of a peacful demonstration against an injustice
