Dunno, but its your fault for getting vista, DOES ANYBODY HAVE ANY IDEA ABOUT HOW INCOMPATIBLE THAT OS IS? Either use XP PROFESSIONAL, or a Linux distro, like Ubuntu or CentOS!
Wow, that's hell of a task you want to do :P As I mentioned higher/lower, it depends from your video software. I'm not capable of doing such a setup, so I'm afraid you're on your own. My advice : experiment a lot.
I've never tried. My guess is that the system will see only 2 screens and you'll see the same on two screens, and the third will be treaten as the second. But that's just my speculation.
The way dual screen is not like in Windows XP, in Windows XP you can have a photo that occupies both screens instead of having two equal photos on every screen, besides, the bar of tasks is in two screens.
Your graphic card software should have the proper options, like screen-cloning, selecting the primary screen, etc. You should start there (NVIDIA-NVIDIA Control Panel, ATI - Catalyst).
In the video I used the CRT screen as the primary. The LCD is secondary, you have to drag some content to it.
I know this song is called "Livin' on a prayer", but who sang this?

I got my comp to external desktop. That is fine. But how do I go back to the mirror screen? In other words, how do I undo the extended desktop?
