those buildings are way too flimsy for an earthquakes like the ones in China, Iran or Indonesia. Noone in Northern California is prepared for that magnitude.

Why is the AP interviewing a bunch of morons in the bay area?? I suspect that this is a stupid patchwork of stock video from the 4.1 earthquake that happened on Thursday near Milpitas.

Does the AP think we are that stupid? It just makes them look lazy and lackluster in their reporting ability because they were unwilling to go to the source of the event.

I live between Eureka &Fortuna & the shaking was quite dramatic here! Our wood frame house seems pretty intact .Power went off,but I went to sleep @ about 10: 00,& when I woke up @ about 2: 00 AM power was restored. Not too bad really .Let's hope the aftershocks remain mild!
