I am myself a Pakistani. I wish that we have great generals like Manek Shaw. Unfortunately, we had corrupt and shameless generals like Niazi and yahaya Khan. They caused unbearable dishonour to the Pakistanis.

general niazi was one of the great generals.....who kept on fighting aginst 100000-300000 indian army and resisted them to enter bangladesh for more than 1 month.....

I am a Pakistan but still I like Gen Manick Shaw for his leadership and many other qualities despite the fact that the same Indian army helped those Mukti Bahni rebels who killed my maternal uncle who was a captain in Pak army posted in East Pak. It was a question of channelizing the moral of the soldiers of both side and Gen Shaw did it effectively, whereas, Pak Gen (I would say political generals) failed badly as in words of that Pak Sub Major, they acted and still act like nawabs.
