Carols from King's 2003 - Once in Royal David's City

Thanks for posting. So neat to see this. I think they record the Lessons and Carols a little before the 24th for TV broadcast....? But, I was there 8 years ago on the 24th, sitting right beside this 2003 ensemble. Queued for 9 hours. If anyone has a chance to attend this service, do it. It's worth it! .....I'm going again this year (2011) :)

Another lovely rendition of this carol. I'd been hoping for months to come across recordings from the late nineties and early oughts--when it seems King's had a sound that I find very nearly unbeatable for carols--so finding this was a treat. The choral sound is beautifully warm, and the treble solo at the start must be among the best I've heard. Thanks for this.
