Cable company lobbyists get huge profits by paying off Republicans in DC to keep the service non competitive with rates that are price fixed so you cant get a deal anywhere. Americans should have options for building or setting up their own receivers that are free and legal. That would be called competition that would drive the fixed rates down.

the cable company offered us the first month free and after that we didnt pay at all...all they did was block our cable boxes..so we took those off and just used the actual cable...we called them to take it off but they never showed up..

rogers called my house and offered, so we accepted, they said "first 3 months are free"

so we didnt pay the bill after the 3 months

and they didnt cut it off. we were still getting it for like 7 more months lol, i swear

then another time the same thing happend

but it was for a shorter period of time lol
